DBSo3, I'm sorry but I've never played multiplayer in anything. Yep I know, missin' out. I see the mad fun. I just work alone. As valuable as synchronized shots are, I prefer going it on my own.

Yep me too, easily 2 hours. Maybe even more? I completely lost track of time.

Shoot the lights with the "most silent" pistol. From "a distance away" so Unidad don't hear it. I always take lights out in missions. Except the last try on this one.

I wanted to try the 'parachuting in' technique but Pac Katari placed the heli "inside" the base! That got abandoned quickly. But actually succeeding in doing it? WOW! I'm impressed.

I got seen by "one" of the Unidad near the SAM and this happened. I wasn't even 'in' the base yet and there were 10 guys looking for me 'outside' the base. I couldn't even abandon. I had to wait for things to cool down and try. Failed miserably. In retrospect though... That was the perfect opportunity to sneak inside. While everyone's outside searching for you.

Switching the jammer off. There's about 4 guys near it. You see that "heavy" on top of the barricade blocks? I couldn't get that guy to move. You just have to wait 'til he looks in the other direction then go quickly.

    Expendables...

Took a while for him to get across.

    "...using thermal binoculars" that's hardcore!

If I can replay the mission again I'll get screens of the "hurdle way in" under the sniper tower.

Hi again (sorry 'bout the double post.) Here's how I get in. BTW I just tried it on Tier 1. It's easy enough to "get in" on Tier 1 but defending the base... that's a whole other monster! I aim to do it this weekend though.

OK once you die you will automatically spawn at the location to start.

Here's the aerial view on the map. See the black square with the cursor on it? That's the sniper tower. Coming from the top downwards you go toward the right.

The guy on the right, just stay prone and crawl on ya' belly ya' red bellied bush snake! Hehe.

    There's the sniper tower.

    There's the barricade entry point.

Watch out for this guy on the right.

See you can hop up here. There's 3 guys here. The sniper on the tower (who will spot you) so be aware of him. And see the guy's forward. Wait 'til they leave.

And this guy on the left who walks back and forth. When he's far left hop up quickly and immediately go prone. You start gettin' seen by him and the guy on the right but the guy on the left will go check where you hopped up. Now's your chance to move toward the left. On ya' belly all the way.

There's a guy in that fortified building on the left. Just crawl past him. If he sees you you're gone though.

Up forward here sticking to the left.

There's the gap between the 2 buildings I mentioned.

See that guy in the middle? Just wait 'til he walks past to the right.

Sam's right in that building in front of you.

GET UP AND RUN ASAP TOWARD THE DOOR (situated on the left of the building.) Voila you're in. Tier 1, 30-60 seconds. No aid necessary. Unexciting but professional.

And this is what happens when you attempt this on Tier 1. Everybody dead in less than a minute.

I hope it helps. Apologies to the people who are annoyed at my screenshots. Just trying to help folks. I'm old school.

Hey thanks for the help. Almost made it last night but it timed out. Geez what next. I don't think I'll ever get in there. I will give it awhile and try your way. Pretty frustrating for sure. Thanks again.

I think I might have to fill up my skills for not being detected. That could be it, what do you think?

Hi DBSo3, you're welcome. Yeah I got done by the 'time out' too. Just keep at it. The only way you get better is with experience, good and bad. It'll get easier (every time you die, hehe.) Stay watchful.

I've been following a Youtube gamer called "theRadBrad" since the Ryder White DLC for Dead Island! I just like his style and commentaries. Anyway the reason I mention him is because he rips through games and barely spends time developing skills. And he's able to complete the whole game using "not the best" weapons and "minus" the added bonuses of the skills.

So is it worth it maxing out the Detection skill...? For me, ABSOLUTELY! That's how I play. Max out all the skills, get the perks (where applicable), best weapons/all attachments etc. and only then when I'm an absolute b4d4ss, tackle the game. theRadBrad... well, he just goes for it. So I think it's back to what KingSpawn1979 said earlier, "each to his own style."

Has anybody else lobbed a frag grenade instead of diversion lure by accident? That causes chaos!

    Sams mission

Hey thanks for the encouragement and I did max out that skill so I will give it a go again when I have some more time. You've been a big help and I appreciate that, thank you.
