Hell I'm on prone and they walk around a corner and see me in the bushOriginally Posted by INDIA8fife Go to original post
That's kinda weird. They almost fell over me before they saw me. I played on Extreme.Originally Posted by DBSo3 Go to original post
Did you shoot the Lights? Old SC Style ;D
How do you mark everyone when the drone is jammed and sniping out the lights draws their attention. Never got to the signal jammer. Even tried sending in rebels as a diversion but that didn't work. Closest I got was like 50 m and was detected. Using night vision and infer red also didn't help. Maybe I'm just trying to fast, but it's definitely frustrating to go over this again and again.Originally Posted by SnW-Heartbreak1 Go to original post
Yeah I shot out the lights draws their attention. Maybe they smell me cause I smoke 😆Originally Posted by KingSpawn1979 Go to original post
My wife said I must stink like cigar so they can smell me. Guess I'll never make it in there 🤗🤣
You don't need the drone to mark (Q) targets, use your binoculars and the "rebel area recon" to spot targets from outside the base, then mark them. For the lights, snipe them from out of the base too, you can do it from the checkpoint spot or from the hills on the east side passing the watch tower, just wait for the soldiers to walk away from the light before shooting.Originally Posted by DBSo3 Go to original post
Take your time, nobody is rushing you, (yes you can rush in your way in) I suggest you to explore a bit everybody made their own way, there isn't any "safe route" and think your way out before you make your way in, know your exits, most important, create an exit.
I was sneaking along towards the camp and .... mission failed you left the mission area wtf? Why is there even a specification on mission area that you can't even see?
EDIT: My bad I was trying to be clever and mover closer to the station to wait for the mission to start. Basically I had nothing else to do while awaiting 21:00 hours. Apparently, and understandably it stopped me from doing that.
Hello, just finished it. The bruises on my head prove it!
Is the ability to "switch views" (the side you shoot from) disabled in this mission? For me it was and that ability is very useful when peeking around corners!
Also... I switched Tier 1 off to play this (yeah yeah I'm not on a suicide mission) but the difficulty setting stayed on Extreme. Now I didn't figure this out until I had failed the mission 6 times. In quick succession!
And believe me... after 6 tries the blood pressure goes up.
That said, after a lot of trial and error. 10+ attempts. I tried entering from every access point and started getting in close too (60 metres away, 30 metres away) only to fail time and again.
There is one way in where you can literally do it without using a single diversion lure. Its not very tricky neither. For the players who are struggling (and I'm sorry if this description sucks) but...
You climb up over a barricade (those wire blocks full of gravel or whatever) and its located right under a sniper tower (normally you can't climb over them but there's an intentional space and the option to climb is there.) As soon as you get over you start getting spotted. Stay crouched and move fast "left" zig-zagging to throw off the detection meter. There's 3 or 4 Unidad's who start seeing you. You just gotta' keep moving. Although its pretty safe behind these 2 buildings. Wait for a Unidad to walk past and then you go "in between" two buildings (there's purple all around both buildings but not in the middle between them, I guess that's how you can identify the area I'm talking about) and voila run to the door and you're in! No **** guys it took less than 30 seconds! Once I knew how to do it. Prior to that I was punching myself in the head. Can I replay the mission?
The fun part was defending him. Not the stealth part. I found a corner where I could cover all the Unidad approaches, the stairs, the helicopters, the snipers and yep even the windows. Both sides.
But the mission was heaps hard.
