Solo player who wants the change server option when rogues are going gangbusters.

Lately the rogue activity on some servers have been reaching plague proportions where in a 14 call stretch for extractions, managed only 2 clear extractions, left early on 4 occasions as a 4 agent team turned up, but on the remaining I hooked on most times despite being under fire, but lost 2 extractions, got killed 4 times, but survived 8 attacks.
Subsequently being chased through multiple DZ areas before losing them, the chasers are time consuming and such an energy drain, being constantly on the run.
Just getting around was such an issue with multiple groups simultaneously on Manhunts, so avoiding them was an issue, not to mention the number of spontaneous attacks whilst travelling around, from opportunist rogues who spot a solo agent, then the random meetings with plain rogues, not yet on manhunt level who do not show up on your map unless you are very close, which means you often get a visual symbol before a map point shows them.
The result of this was that it was so slow to find Div Tech and that was why I was on my PS4 to begin with.
Go into menu and confirm what I already thought, the change server option is only available to teams, yet I have a definite need to find a more friendly PVE farmer server than the rogue fest I am currently on, but I can not access the menu item as a solo.
Restart the PS4 and it puts me on a very quiet server with some genuine PVP rogues who are very content to stay in their selected area for genuine PVP activities and the activity level is also much less for PVE farmers so in the next hour I collected more Div Tech and had only one rogue show up, who was clearly a beginner, so I survived that easily and had a great time finding Div Tech, caches to convert into Div Tech and locked boxes in the UG DZ after killing the Boss and getting loot drops.
I play this game for fun, not to be some loose cannons target, so when rogue levels are high I will look to change, it would be easy to select the change server function and transition than to have to reboot and log back in again, small change should not be too hard, it will give an out option for PVE farmers being harassed.

To change Servers without logging out, just matchmake. Most of the time it will trigger a phase transfer.

I believe the change sever option is only usable when you have connected to a server with a poor connection or if you are in a high bracket DZ for your gear score.

The only way I know to change server, which upsets some people is to go into a checkpoint and matchmake. Once you have joined a team leave straight away and you should be on a new server.

Match make for what I am doing is not suitable as I am div tech grinding to optimize a CS armour set, so I would prefer to remain solo and just find my own way about.

You only Matchmake to trigger the server change, after the server swap, leave the group!

If you just want to grind for dtech, lower your Gearscore and farm in the 219-255 DZ Bracket.

shhh, we don't want everyone in there, thankfully it's not easy to drop a gear score.

It's extremely easy to drop a gear score. It's just not well known

Dropping a gear score does take some work to shuffle off a heap of gear onto your other agents, if you have the room.
However when I did I found the character was so fragile I kept dying, adapting from a very robust CS 291 optimized Nomad set up was difficult.
For the difference a few minutes a log out and restart takes I will be doing it more often.
In the hour after changing I found more Div Tech and loot than in the preceding 3 hours.

You can keep your fully optimized 5pc Nomad, just switch out the mask and the handgun to a gs89pc and your fine to go .

This. I run a pretty strong build in the <255 bracket.
I just use a purple level 29 mask.

Got some compliments from a random player in the DZ last night when he was working on a landmark and I strolled along and one shotted the boss for him. lol
I let him land a few bullets first so he got the drops and I got the cleared landmark even though the boss was all I killed.
I didn't have my mic on so I didn't reply but suddenly there were two of them so I aimed my weapon at them and he was like "Whoa whoa whoa...friend friend". hahaha

Definitely gonna use my upcoming windfall of Div Tech to fully optimize my tier 4 DZ character.

Ranking up in the DZ in tier 4 takes forever btw. My toon is only like DZ47 and has tons of time in there. Not that I care. Just an FYI.
