    Issues with the new karambit knife...

    Why is it tied to gloves?

    The only way to use them is to equip the gloves or the designed outfit so we can't use them with other outfits or icon outfits.
    Couldn't the developers implement a small menu that lets you select the preferred melee type? That way they could even import the fallen ghosts melee animations into the vanila too.

    Please keep this thread up so it might have a chance to actually happen.

    Edit:

    Another idea.
    Add the code that triggers the usage of the karambit from the spilnter cell outfit and the gloves, to all the store outfits and the icons.

    Edit 2:

    People shared great alternative ideas in this thread, and who knows, maybe one of them could somehow transport the fallen ghosts knife too into the main game, without the skills of course.

    Also a might be easier fix/solution would be, if we were allowed to take outfits piece by piece and combine them with other clothes.

    I just want to know why I should PAY for MORE content to get a bloody knife takedown option when I already PAID for a FULL EXPANSION that included it in the first place? We already have the FG guns (which is nice), but why not the new melee animation that came with it?

    ^ There. I highlighted it.

    I understand if Predator's Wristblade is clothing-attached. Karambit and FG knife should be change-able through options tbh. Mafia 3 used this method.

    Implement a whole new menu system just because someone isn't ok with gloves yea idk you should understand the time and effort it takes to redesign a games interface before requesting that

    Actually the easiest solution in my mind would be adding it to the weapon controls while aiming - like placing/removing the silencer - to toggle on/off the knife kills. If I am not mistaken, there should be still some unused buttons.

    Why not just have an option to assign it to a weapon slot?

    That way we would have a primary, backup, and knife.

    Not sure if anyone has ever drawn a knife in combat, but 9/10 you are not holding a primary weapon, so having an option to holster your primary to draw a knife makes sense

    Wow, you guys are all dropping great ideas, at least one of those should be implemented. There are more possibilities than i first tought.

    Anyone else noticing sound problems?


    Like no sound for the takedown animations if holding pistol or if holstered Weapons. I only get sound when holding primary weapon!
