Solve saving game problem.
Check if you have file compression turned on in your disk, FC5 apparently cant read compressed files.
1. Just goto properties for the CPY_SAVE folder.
2. In general tab uncheck read only (if checked).
3. click advance, then disable compress file to save disk space, and enable Folder is ready for archiving.
4. Hit apply and apply to all sub folder.
Restart the game, it will give some kind of error for fitst load, just hit accept, close the game, replace the save file it created with yours, launch the game again, it should work properly now.
Also run game as admin just to be safe.

Hey guys, I'm moving this to the right forum, and deleting the spam from this thread. Are you all experiencing this on the latest patch?

No, the latest patch did not resolve my issue. Playing on a PC and all of the following stopped at some time:
Fast travel is always "Unavailable"
The 'Save' option is missing and does not auto-save after completing objectives
Craft wheel - can't craft any items (all show as empty, but inventory says full - so can't complete two of the mission that require a craft to be made)

How do you save on the ps4 once you lost the manual save option for FarCry 5. Please help?

You cant they dont even acknowledge it on the bug list.

Yea this is what happened to me. I was attempting to accept a Clutch Nixon stunt and didn't know it at the time but had just recently filled the meter for Jacob's region and as u know once that happens u get hit by an arrow or whatever that knocks u out. Well my game glitched out, didn't know what to do as it was in transition between the 2. So now my game won't save unless I complete a side mission and anytime I try to goto Jacob's HQ to trigger the final battle with him it just glitchs out and I respawn aways back from his compound. Unfortunately looks like I'm gonna have to restart, very frustrating cause after him I only had Joesph to go.

Having this issue on PC and looking for a fix. (or dev contact info so I can ask to return or exchange the game I can't play)
