They added the flip-down animation to ALL NVGs.
You can perform knife takedowns now. (Given that you bought the SC pack though.)
I'm sold.
I'm buying the Year 2 pass.
I don't really care what else it delivers. It's already good enough for me.
Nice work, devs.
And CMs too.
Year two starts with a big fan service for the PvE crowd
I am now really excited to see what the other 3 updates will bring, since this one delivered some request that required some serious work from Ubisoft - and (nearly) all of it for free. Updates like this make me willing to spend money on a game I stopped playing.
I really hope that more new missions will follow - don't have to be for free - as these improvements keep coming that make the game more enjoyable. Any chance to get a roadmap presented for the upcoming 3 updates?
Was that in response to my empty slots comment ?Originally Posted by Megalodon26 Go to original post
As someone who has no interest in seeing the regular takedowns replaced with the knife I am actually really happy about tht e karambit solution. First I was not a fan of the FG knife animations, second now both variations co-exist. Since the knife is only a cinematic change and has no effect on the gameplay, I also don't care that it will require people to buy it. I also had to spend real money on the Special Forces pack since I wanted that one. Sorry, but I don't have any issues with Ubi's action here and I prefer it to what people suggested.Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post
Regarding the NVG and animation - I am waiting for the patch before saying anything. They actually showed the gladiator helmet with the animation if I am not mistaken and all NVGs in the clip where moved. For the Splinter Cell outfit it is hard to say if it affects the old one. In any case I am not dismissing it until I see it in game.
But at the end of the day, both things required more work than people here realize so if Ubisoft is charging for it, I can hardly blame them, especially since a lot of people said they would pay for it.
