Interact key make you exchage weapon when saving hostages

Is there a way to fix this?

BTW I'm having fun with this game and I never play FPS because I feel dizzy.. Thank to the fact most of the game is outside I didn't feel sick since now. I played coop with a friend and the characters are well rendered. I asking myself why there is no option of third person view?

    Because it's a First-Person Shooter...

LOL I know, but having the option wouldn't bother anyone and put more value on the vanity clothes. By the way I'm looking for some way when in the action to avoid exchange weapon while saving hostages. After that I've to run to weapon vendor to get my weapon back. Maybe I'm missing something. Thanks in advance.

The Far Cry series does have a history of being 1st person only, I suspect making it 3rd person as well is not a trivial matter.

As for changing weapons, yes, it's annoying, if you remember you can pick your own weapon back up again...

Exactly. It amazes me how people think including both perspectives is a five-minute job. What about all the additional MoCap, modelling and rendering that would be required?

And like you say, FC has always been a FPS. One wouldn't buy a chess set, then complain because the rules are different to checkers.

Just tap the key, don't hold it down. For the PC, anyway, I have hold down the key to actually swap weapons. If for some reason I swapped, I just swap again to get my weapon back.

OP doesn't say what he's on, but like a number of small details in this game, things are handled differently on console. On PS4 it's hold square to loot, but if the corpse has an alternative primary weapon, it often swaps it out instead of looting.

It's inconvenient, but a minor quibble for me.

The problem is to notice you swap weapon when saving the hostage

Yes sorry I forgot to say I'm playing on PC. That's not a big deal as you said except when I had to make a stealth hostages saving and I had only 2 unsuppressed pistols

They had most of the time needed while in developpement. I'm not asking to change it, I knew before buying it was fps. I'm asking for a reason why no choice since there are a lot of people that feel dizzy when playing fps.

Please don't make it like I complain. As I said, I played with a friend and his character was rendered well enough to play with it as 3rd person. And the 'FC has always been a FPS' is not a valid answer because that mean no evolution.
