    An Idea of refresing the game

    When I was playing some tributes I thought that I would like to see more maps for the mode but then, why not a new kind of battle all together, and then.... why not a bit of open world pvp. Just stay with me for a while who knows, u may also like it too.

    Four new nodes in Fraction War map, in the middle, that would be "more than less" excluded from this "send troops" as we now know it. Three of those, for base of operations of every fraction, castle at the left for knights, encampment at the top for the vikings and forward base at right for samurais. Each of them split in two for one would be the safe zone where u would appear (more of this later) and battle zone where at the regular basis, conquest would take a place. And one node, biggest in the middle where "for now" would be send troops and some better captains from these castles at regular intervals, where they maintain Endless Battlefield.

    For the safe zones:
    If you are "for example" Viking then you could join solo only to the viking ecampment but if you are having four-man "just example, size doest matter" group made in the menu you would then join the leader's base. From these safe arenas u could also join every other aspect of the game or options of course. And here you could find new daily quests (more of these later) and Conquest quest every 3 hours (more on that in a bit and of course it could be every 4 or 5 hours).

    For this mode entirely, I am awere that it would require few new mechanics into the game like being able to interact with things "quest givers, etc." but I do not think that it would be impossible.
    I should mention that in this entire area "game mode if u want" gear score should be present, but I think thats obvious, right?.
    And one new "fifth skill if u want" for all, something like healing liquor that would heal 60% of health over 12 sec with minute and half cooldown. But that is for debate you can have healing zones here and there too, something like medical tents would make sense too, I guess. Anyway back on track...

    Second half of the castle, the Battlezone:
    While idle and on the side that it belongs to, there would be several guards "troops of swordsmans, archers" minding their own bussines of guarding, nothing flashy there and a Castle Captian (or call him like u want) roaming around which would be like boss of the Conquest later.
    Now! Every three hours one of the fraction would decide to attack others so battering rams are send with a troops to attack, for example samurais have the turn now so they are attacking vikings and knights at the same time at 14:00, which means that the battering rams would be send sooner so that it can start at time. Before it reaches its destionation of starting point it would be invulnerable.
    Players would be able to join queues 30minutes before Conquests to be able to participate, because those not in the battle, would not be able to see "physicaly on the scene" anything but would know that Conquest is happening when opening their map. You could join either, attacking side or defending "of course that depens if you are the one attacked, then you have no choice but to defend yours or attack another" And of course based on how big these castles would be, battles could be like 12 vs 12 ppl.. Or These Conquests could be separate which means samurais would first attack vikings and afterwards knights. Now for how it would look like.

    Attacking side needs to defend battering ram and breach the gate of the castle then go in and kill the Castle Captain which would conclude win for the attacking side. Now remember campain last mission as knight, to have some solid base to work on. Ram would take 5 to 15 minutes to reach a gate and then smashing it three times to breach (everything is only tentative and needs to be tested, based on how many ppl would participate).

    But the Battering Ram could be damaged from defenders with any skill that would deal only small amout of damage because the main point would be to take "small breaching charge like device.. I dunno a small closed container with gunpowder?" and plant it several times on the ram to acualy damage it. In my opinion 8 charges to destroy Battering Ram in 12man goup while only 2 can be carried at the time could be reasonable, not counting skill damage let say u could possibly deal 1 charge damange in a while. For defenders I though about having archery posts at the castle walls with limited ammo and only dealing 20-30 damage, friend or foe. Someting like, bow that would be interactable with 10 or more arrows that would be replenished every 2-5 minutes by some arrow carrier from barracs would be nice. And of couse the carrier could be killed for no more arrows for another 5 minutes.

    The progress of the ram would be paused if defender stays in the close proximity of the ram to plant the charge "which would of course take some time and need to be defended in the proces". Breaching the gate could be paused as well.
    Now what about respawning. Prety obvious for defender side right but the attacking side I thought about having a few "checkpoints if u like" tents or whatever with doors, when respawning to acualy come out of these doors as a reinforcement and of course with 3-5 sec invulnerability to prevent possible spawn killing or even making two spawning arenas at each side of the road where as a attacker u could choose where to spawn. Of course it needs to be reached with battering ram first to be able to spawn there.

    Once the gate is breached, I think that, for defenders to still have a chance of winning this, timer needs to start which would indicate when the attacking forces would be forced to retreat.

    Now when the Conquest is complete, quests could be turned in, for bigger reward for winning of course. Now what about Conquested area "attacking force winning".
    Well several troops would be present there with some number of better units, for new quest would arise for the fraction that owns that castle, to defend and retake what is theirs. This would be pve content only for that one fraction. That could be completed once for each player (for quest reward) but several times over until another conquest would take place, lets say it would be automatically retaken by allied forces hour or so before another conquest.
    I should probably mention that in all of this, there should be another currency "I would call Honor Points" that could be turned in whenever you want for some rewards and would be acquired from every killed minion or player and of course, some portion (1/4 or 1/5) would be lost on death.

    Now for the Endless Battlefield a bit:
    Here it would be open pvp arena like we all gamers know it. With these daily quests "for example" kill several troops to help your fraction, sabotage a ballista that constatly fires at the battlefield etc.. etc.. And of course every minion here woud reward u with honor points as well.
    While moving in the Endless Battlefield and not taken damage in 6 seconds then u would move with a speed equal to the fastest characters in the game because how large the Endless Battlefild coud be. And no, it would not stack with any movement speed bonuses from abilities.

    Now this is me looking even further in the future but if on the Endless Batllefield would be some more PVE content "dungeons / instances / raids" where no gear score for more challenging experince would take a place, that would be very much awesome as well.

    All the rewards would be nice in terms of experience and steel I guess but that is not someting I should decide, anyway how all of this would coexist with current fraction war is something I didn't realy thought about because, I personally think It should be excluded entirely as I said before.

    And for some expected comments: Would it be a nonsense to pick a Warden while joining your samurai base, well..... we all play as different characters than our fraction is already and who said that there cannot be those who simply changed their ways of thinking or something like that.

    Well that concludes my Idea "or more of dream". Let me know what you guys think about this.
