Very long assault map; Kill Hotel owner. (at least 45 minutes)

    (Map is for pc.)

Finally i am able to show you guys my first FC5 assault map. I map for almost 2 decades
so i am not new to this but this editor was new to me. What a great tool to play with.

I made this map as i am used to do, as big and spectacle as possible. Its a linear map that
takes at least 45 minutes to finish. Best is you watch my trailer so you can see all aspects
of this new map, or watch at least the screens, if your interested that is.
A huge shame is the miss of not being able to add save points, so when the player dies he
has to start over from scratch. Which is a downside to huge maps.

    Hope you like the info, if you do then please play the map here;

Hope you have the time to play it, and have FUN!

It is never nice to get your own thread up again to get attention to it,
but i still wanted to do this just this ones because the map is for a sp map rather nice
i think and for sure VERY large, and quit linear. For a sp gamer i do think it is nice to play,
just see what you think of it by looking at the screens and or video,
(or maybe give it a try even when you have nothing else to play right now

I'll start by saying that unfortunately I'm on the PS4, so I won't be able to play this map, but I can see it from the examples you've provided (wow that's quiet thorough, haha!)...
You've got a nice eye for detail when it comes to the country roads, they flow very nicely into each area and provide a change of pace to the action. As for your shootout areas, they vary in a way to provide a different experience with each area, which is good to avoid making a long level feel stagnant.

Overall you've created a nice flowing, long lasting experience. There's some areas like the graveyard and the Spymaps motel where the models look a little "dropped out of nowhere". Don't be afraid to use decals and minute terrain adjustments to make the area look less flat and bare.

...But that's really nitpicking, for a large scale map, great work!

Thank you both for your comment guys, am glad you think the screens and map look good.
And it is for PC Ol Barakus, forgot to mention that, (just edited my topic above to add that it is for pc).

A shame your map get lost so quick between the many uploads, but maybe over time people will
look more for quality maps. We just have to give our maps some time i assume, and keep believing in them

Good work. I like long maps, but I am discouraged by the absence of save points. This makes them less valued. I hope they include them someday.

SOOOOOOO TRUE!!!!! A large sp map without save points is hardly fun. Because we all get killed ones ot twice at
least and then you have to start from scratch! This map is quit liniar and takes for sure around 45+ min. to play,
so you will get killed at least ones or twice.
    Thanks for your comment Jaavaa!

Since I see that you have a lot of them - how do I add skidtracks (tyre tracks) to my roads? Is there a decal for them? I hope it's not a texture ...

Btw, I'm on PC, so I'll definitely try out your map. Looking forward to it!

Use the "Road Tool" in conjunction with a texture painted on the terrain.

Like Ultranew_b said, its the Road Tool, just choose one and test them out (in the editor itself).
There are severel of them that have such a tyre tracks look.
Much success and thanks for commenting both in this topic!
