Why do you make clothes for a player no one can see?? That must be your error nr 1 What a fail! When playing the game your followers talk are so amateur made. They say the same all the time and it dosent hang together. You make forced missions???? Wtf? Its a open world game, you dont do that!! The money thing is also terrible, the only way to get real weapons and stuff fast is to kill many animals, cause the mission dont bring you that kind of money to buy anything. The most stupid thing in this game is you sell clothes to a player figure no one can see. Thumbs down and i am finish with far cry!!!!!!
This could be a fleeting posting history if you're done...Originally Posted by marcogrie Go to original post
I rather like the simple personal customisation, you see yourself occasionally and it helps my immersion.
As for the money, I think I have some $50,000 in my current play through, the Prepper Stashes give plenty of cash.
Sounds like your mileage may vary, but that's up to you.![]()
In my opinion the game is awesome and worth the $100 I paid, but it suffers from the Ubi curse of being released full of bugs. It's just painful to have to wait for who knows how long for it to get patched to where it needs to be. However, as somebody who has been playing Far Cry since Crytek made the original, and every one since, I think this is the best one out of them all so far. Of course that comes with the assumption that all the bugs will get fixed. This is just my opinion of course.
I've had more than my money's worth.
The problem with bugs is that their impact can be so personal.
I was able to quit the Atonement glitch and restart that mission, plus I'm now stuck in daytime (late afternoon). So nothing there I can't deal with a shrug. But if I'd had to quit a playthrough or be stuck at night permanently I'd feel very differently.
Every game has bugs, but the gamebreaking ones should ideally be prevented or fixed within only a few days,
you are not forced to spend money on attire that you say, doesn't matter due to not seeing your character, so complaining about that seems like you are complaining just for the hell of it. I normally get video games and wonder if it was worth the money. I have not once even tried to question that with this game. Well worth the money and I paid $188 dollars for it and another $45 for season pass
Game is totally worth it for me.
Earning money is pretty easy. Hunt, fish, kill cultists and if you want bonus cash you use Boomer since he sniffs out some extra cash and ammo from corpses even after you looted them.
There are no forced missions, only the story line cutscenes that drag you into them but I'm not too worried about those. I would have preferred that the cut scenes were triggered by actually doing or completing a storyline mission, but eh... minor complaint.
I've had hours and hours of fun in the game. It took me 52 hours to finish the storyline on the first playthrough (and yes I didn't try to speed run it, I just honestly and legit enjoyed the game). Game cost 60$ divided by 52 hours means it only cost me 1,15$ per hour of fun on the first playthrough. Pretty cheap fun in my book. And now I am doing second playthrough on Hard, and I haven't even begun to mess around much in the Arcade. So easily another 50+ hours waiting which means the cost vs hours of fun ratio is going to be well below 50 cents per hour of fun.
So expensive game? Not really. I played many games that I paid 20$ for and they gave me less than 2 hours of enjoyment, meaning they cost me 10$ per hour of fun which is TEN TIMES more expensive than Far Cry 5.
Hi, one sees his outfit on the "Wanted" posters and in co-op the partner will see it, and in multiplayer the other players too. Ane to me personaly it gives me a bit more of inmersive feeling.Originally Posted by marcogrie Go to original post
With the talk of the followers youīre totaly right, would be nice if they could talk some more, different and story progress related things. Or even make a joke from time to time.
With the money, i donīt see the problem that way you do, i just killed the amount of animals i needed to get the talent points, for the weekly challenge or for defending myself, my followers or innocent npcīs, no more. And i didīnt had any money related problem, got enough money from missions and in the "Preparetorists " ( or how they call them) hides, and looting all dead cultists, cashiers, safes and stuff like that. And one gets even more if going with boomer, he allways finds something.
Overall i love this game and canīt get enough of it, i hope soooo much much they will expand it with new map zones & missions. And besides that, we donīt have to forget the arcade mode, which is pure fun for a lot of time.
The 80€ i spend for the game are worth it, every cent. And if theyīll bring out any extra dlc ( beside them from the season pass which i allready own ) iīll spend some more €īs on it for shure.
Comming back to the season pass, thereīs a thing i donīt realy like, and itīs pretty unfair for people (like me) who ones FC3 since years, that it is part of it, itīs for the ones they donīt have it, but imo they could give us, who allready owns it, another thing. I donīt know what thing, but something, a weapon, some xpīs, something, i donīt know, but the way it is now, itīs just not fair.
So, enough complained, gotta go into the game and have some more fun again!
Hav a good one everybody !
I wonder if the OP walks around naked a lot. I mean, we put on clothes on ourselves IRL but we don't really see how we look (except in mirrors). But we don't really care about looking at ourselves (unless we are narcissists) but care about how others see us.Originally Posted by popsilie1960 Go to original post
So in that respect Far Cry 5 is quite realistic
It's not about seeing yourself.. it's about how others see you!
Why are you so hung up on dressing your character? Maybe a doll would help quench your needs as Far Cry has never been about playing dress up. It really amazes me how little things can set people off these days, "I can't see my clothes so I'm never buying another Far Cry game!" LMAOOriginally Posted by marcogrie Go to original post
