To retain your legendary rank , do you need to be in the top 50% or do you need to place in the top 4001 and receive a card pack?

to retain leg status you need to be top 4500 i think , i fought a rank 8200 today , but you will still get your leg card , if outside 50 % you will drop to silver shield 50 .

I was reset last month and I was ranked somewhere in 3000 i think.
