    Save game is lost/gone after update

    Hi there,

    Today I needed to update the game to the most recent version. After doing so I wanted to continue the game where I left a few days ago. However when starting the game by pressing the "resume game" option it let me start from the beginning. So everything I got and played is gone.

    I looked up my save game at my PC and it shows the date of today.

    Anyone else experienced the same? Or anyone who can help?

    Same Issue

    I went to play today and was prompted for the update. I applied it and am left with minimal progress in the game. All the auto-saved progress has been lost. I have attempted to re-sync via the uPlay cloud method with no change.
    the uPlay client does show my progress though (it shows me with roughly 28% completed story wise) so I know it's recorded somewhere.
    I cannot do a Windows restore and I don't have a backup of that directory. That is what the cloud sync is intended to provide.

    Progress will be stored as a bookmark so to speak on the account but it is not save data.
    if that is lost then we are unable to restore it from our side.

    Thanks for your reply. I followed the steps you suggested me. Funny thing is that when you delete your local stored saved game it will be replaced during startup by a cloud stored saved game. So this means that the progress which is was stored in the cloud is also gone. It was already gone at the first place after updating the game. This means that there is something going wrong at your servers!

    When I look at the other messages at the forum I see that I'm not the only one having this problem. My progress is simply deleted!! During startup the synchronisation overwrites my local stored save game and now I lost everything!

    Can you please replace my save game with the one I was left. If not, then please initiate a refund because I'm not gonna start from scratch again.

    I just lost 26 h of gameplay.
    Tried to resync to cloud did not work.
    Tried some other save game and got graphite error.
    I want a fix or refund!!!
