    6 Possible New Heroes (based on real prototypes)



    I want to share with community my ideas and my art about possible heroes in future. Some of them a truly based on greatest historical warriors.



    Dragoon
    The Polish Hussars, or Winged Hussars, were one of the main types of the cavalry in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The oldest mention of hussars in Polish documents date to 1500, although they were probably in service earlier.
    The uniqueness of these warriors is their wings. I can see them as part of combat mechanics. After each heavy attack dragoon is protected from any dodge attack. I think it could be very interesting. The type of class who is big deal for all assassins and Kensei.



    Adelantado
    It was a military title held by Spanish conquistadors. For this class I see interesting variety of armor and cloth in way of conquistadors and inquisition. His combat mechanics based on rapier (light attacks: fast, bleeding, good range) and mace (heavy attacks: slow, close range and bush for top heavy).



    Gall
    I think Galls, Goths. and Vandals are good candidates for Vikings in For Honor universe. And I believe everyone want to see big guy with maul as new hero )



    Druid
    I see this character some kind of mix of Shaman and Valkyrie. It could be known as Hunter, or some other good title. The main point of this type of hero is spear in two hands

    Komuso
    Basically, It's monk. Komuso has interesting background in Japanese history. They were ready to protect their temples. As I know (may be I read wrong information) some Ronins became Komuso to hide their faces. Weapon: staff (could be Bo), Battle mechanics: fast as Shinobi, has deflects, superior block, dodge attacks and everything, but he has low damage. I see his zone attack as AOE sweep (like Valkyrie).



    Yamabushi
    These guys has very interesting story in real life. They were monks living in mountains area. Most interesting about them - they were involved in war, and they known as warriors which can fight against a real samurai. They had use many types of weapon, so this is chance for us to give Samurai in For Honor a shield.

    Wow.

    First of all, that is some fantastic artwork! Kudos, friend. I was originally going to do some custom art for my own class suggestion thread but didn't have the chops for it. You, on the other hand, know what you're doing and then some!

    As for the classes themselves, what can I say? Some fantastic ideas here!

    Dragoon: Winged Hussars are always a win. Would be really cool to see some of that extravagant armour in-game, and dual sabres would make for some beautiful moves!

    Adelantado: I'll be the first to admit I'm a rapier fanboy, so any class suggestion that brings up the idea is a win in my books. But combining it with a mace is a damn cool twist! Never even thought of that combo before.

    Gall: a Viking with a giant hammer is something I've wanted to see for a while. My idea for the class was the Jotunn, but I think your suggestion is more interesting and draws from a more culturally accurate place.

    Druid: a little hesitant on this one because we already have a lot of fast, light, springy classes in the game. But if done right, I can absolutely see this idea being great! Perhaps as a Vangaurd class?

    Komuso: once again you've made a similar suggestion to one of mine, but done it better and more intesting. Love the design you put forward for this one! Really cool and unique looking and definitely a class I'd love to see in game.

    Yamabushi: this would make for one hell of a Samurai Heavy! A neat riff on the otherwise "standard" mace and sheild combo with a cool historical basis to boot! Great work!

    I really like the idea of the wings with the Dragoon.
    I think that they could make it so that after a heavy attack you have superior block on all side for about 400-500 milliseconds long. If an enemy attack gets blocked by this you can then counter with a move called winged hurricane. Where you spin slicing the enemy with the wing closest to them followed by the sword and then continue the spin by stricking with the other sword and then the wing. This would be a very powerful counter attack and unblockable. So like maybe 60-80 damage in total of the hole counter where to hit and not be interrupted.

    Also I could see his wings being one of 3 things as far as where they belong in customizing.
    I could see them be considered part of his arms slot armor. So different arms have different wings.

    I could also see them being this ornates like the valk has her horns.

    Or I could see the wings being considered the guards of his weapons. So that different weapon sets have different wings.

    Well, we now have confirmation that we are getting new classes this year! Maybe we'll even see a reveal of them at E3? Will be curious to see if there's any that are similar to what's suggested here.

    Man these classes are really intriguing and it serves our demands big time as knights are back to medieval europe again and not roman based character-though I like the roman heroes.
    My only concern is about the Komuso as he might be a hybrid or an assassin and tbh I need to see more heavies and vanguards ideas this time, but the overall idea and designs are fantastic I really hope that someone from the devs can actually see this and take notes
