Thank you gents, I thought as much but it needed clarification which way UBI was going with it since I never purchase this things... and now is more clear.

I have always said it, despite my hate for UBI's modus operendai, it is up to us (consumers) to educate ourselves before any purchase regarding of amount... to err is human, to give your money away not so much

I purchased the digital gold edition and I got everything that was promised apart from a perminant 5% booster (don't ask, I have attempted to resolve this with ubi customer service multiple times)

Other than that I am very happy with the promise of season 2. Now if we could just get Ng+, wire cutters, helo fast rope, better Ai control, and maybe even cross-com, I'd be a super happy combat wombat

I bought the Gold Edition and I don't care, honestly. I have more content from the year 1 pass than I know what to do with since I have a very minimal presence in Ghost War so far (practically nonexistent had I not given it a couple of go's). I might grab year 2 if I suddenly surge in playing GW or the price comes down on sale, but that's still a big "if."

If the funding from a year 2 pass supports future PvE development, I'm all for it; even more so if the price is reasonable. If Ubi does a great job with the year 2 updates, I might end up buying the pass just because I think they've earned it, but I need to see good results first.

Year 2 as far as they have stated doesn't need to be paid for, it is free. All the year 2 pass gives is 8 crates, a customisation pack and 7 days early access.

Why would SEASON pass 2 be included in Season pass 1...? Ask yourself that guy...

Jokes and sarcasm aside, it is true. It's common sense, which sadly not so common to be in a lot of gamers' mind these days.

I never joke when it comes to money, more so when it comes to my own money and people trying to pray it away from my wallet

Sorry for the delay in responding to this thread!

The Store pages have been changing recently in the lead-up to the Year 2 Pass release, but you can see here that the content that was originally listed has all been made available to SP owners: https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/0...s-Season-Pass/ , including the 6 classes mentioned in the Ghost War Pass.

As a few others have pointed out, a Season Pass is what it says on the tin - a pass for a particular Season. Siege does now have a Year 1 Pass (or its equivalent), but at launch it definitely was just called the Season Pass - similar to how it now is with GRW now.

Thanks for the response, just clarifying though from the blurb on https://news.ubisoft.com/article/gho...egins-april-10 is states "In the coming months, four major updates – titled Special Operations – will be released for free, with each themed update adding new missions, items, rewards, and community-requested features", which I assume to mean the year 2 content is pretty much free. Is that not the case? Is there other content that would be included in year 2 that is only provided with the year 2 season pass?
