‘House’ from Rainbow Six Siege Remade in the Map Editor

Hey all! It’s been a long while since I’ve made a map in a FC game. This Editor is so good that it was able to almost fully create this small-ish but complex map from Siege.

I even made a saucy trailer for it!

Here’s a link to the map on PS4 if you’d like to favorite and put it up for votes

It’s a bit tricky, but you have to jump off the side, the detach before you hit the window lol

This looks fun! I will definitely check it out. I can't believe you made it all with generic shapes. Very impressive! You must be very dedicated. From what I saw, the layout looks really good, too.

If you have budget left, you might want to considering adding some detail objects to walls and such to break up the monotony of the generic shape textures. I would recommend some leafy vines on the outside, and some stains/bullet hole sprays on the inside (found in FC5=>objects=>commercial, industrial, or residential=>signs and branding). You can also try embedding other props into the walls to allow their surface textures to peak through, if possible.

Glad you are another solid mapper on the PS4!

Man, generic objects are the best thing to happen to this Editor besides ACTUAL lighting. And yeah, I’m retooling some of the details. Problem is- I’m not used to grid limits, and I hit the object limit on the kitchen end of the residence, so I had to get creative. Stupid me, if I would have built the house another 100 feet away at a grid intersection, this wouldnt have been a problem, but still, all that and still under budget

Try this: give each window a basic ledge to stand on. That way, when you detach, it’ll be asked to get in

Looks great! Awesome work, some constructive criticism though would be to try and fix all the "z-fighting". I think it's better with a millimeter edge than z-fighting.

Thanks! Yeah the Editor has a strange way of unfixing those things I think. I’ll try and fix them again and see if it sticks
