Forced Boss encounters need to be changed

Ok, been reading up and can see a lot of people hate it when you suddenly get snatched up by the region bosses after gaining 1 or 2 bars of resistance in an area, TBH im totaly fine with this.

The thing is though i really dislike the last one which basicaly forces you to encounter the regions boss which once completed liberates the region. The game is fun and has an awesome map but once the region is liberated its kind of dull to keep exploring. IMO i think once the resistance meter is completely full in a region a marker should appear to start the boss encounter so we can leave it on standby and just progress with it when we want.

Does not require alot of effort to add and only improves the game without ANY drawbacks.

Also new game plus so we can start again with all our perks+weps ect

    Completely agree.

The forced capture scenes are infuriating, but what really grinds my gears is the forced boss encounter that removes enemies and, in at least one instance i can think of, removes quest-giving NPCs before you may have completed their quests.

If they change nothing else, at least change that.

Also, give me the option to stab Joseph in the face with a shovel at the end.

I've been saying on other threads that I think the problem lies in the Resistance-o-meter being too easy to fill. If you fart in the general direction of a cult VIP, you get 18 zillion RP.

Edit... I still voted "YES" to your poll....... John Seed would be proud of me

I liked it, made it seem like I actually was on the run being chased and helped develop the story in a more organic way.

I've always disliked playing a game like Far Cry (or any Ubisoft game for that matter) where you seemingly can spend days, hours, months, years, never interacting with the core antagonists.

This keeps me far more engaged.

Now, I know my opinion differs from yours - but please try and see that i'm not saying you're wrong for thinking differently. Just adding my voice to the discussion so the developers can see your view of it is not wholly that of the community's.

Personally I don't mind them keeping it the way it is, but they REALLY need to increase the amount of RP needed to get there. I do like not having to do ALL the story missions, because it gives me something new to do on a second play through, but it should still be much harder than it is to reach the boss encounter.

Faith is going to take you, that seems unavoidable.
You can control when Jacob's region is cleared (don't rescue Pratt, even if Dutch grumbles about it).
You can most control when you trigger John's demise (don't go to the church).

His title is a bit confusing and I was going to mention the same things you did at first, then I realized he's moreso griping about the "encounters". Not the boss battles. I.E. the little kidnappings that happen as you earn rep points in the regions.

Effectively, the OP is upset that he is forced to watch a cutscene and maybe do a small mission and then be put back into the open world. He'd like to schedule his kidnapping =)

    Absolutely!

John Seed is the only one you don't have to confront as soon as possible the other two should be the same.

Reason being because the game world is void of cultists after liberating the region's and beating the game.

In Henbane River you could just shoot Faith and she would go away, post-poning the boss fight even more.

This should be possible for the other regions as well.

When you hear her speak, find her and eliminate.

With faith she places you back in front of the prison and if you walk away the mission fails. Jacob boss fight is the same so irritating that they didn't let us choose when to confront the heralds
