I am currently a reputation 12 Lawbringer and I am feeling that there are things that I still need to learn, but by myself I won’t be able to learn it. So I am asking the Lawdaddy community to assist me in becoming a better Lawdaddy that brings the lawspanking to our foes.
I know about the different mixups with shove, the light, the guardbreak and the heavy.
I can of course parry and use the appropriate counter attack.
I have seen Spliced parry an opponent when they are out of stamina, he would then use the light parry attack and they would keep falling so he was able to get a heavy after that aswell. Is there some special timing for that?
Is there anything else that isn’t the most basic of basics that I need to learn?
To get them to fall when you do the light after parry is that you just have to delay the light attack. The timing is somewhat weird though so you just have to go into training with a level 1 or 2 bot and once their OOS just faint some heavies and the bots will throw OOS attacks and practice the light timing after you parry an OOS attack
OOS parry or grab them and throw them directly backwards and dodge forward with their fall. Light, heavy, heavy feint, all from top stance too. Most unseasoned players will try to parry ur final heavy which will allow you to do that same tactic again. Sometimes let that last one go through though. GET DANGEROUS. lol ALso know the other character. Breathe a sigh of relief when you face a berserker, Orochi, or any others that have a light attack side dodge, like for instance block an attack and shove but do not light an orochi..he will 9/10 times side attack to avoid the move so now that you didnt use the light you can parry his side attack and get a free confirmed heavy overhead. Same with Berserker. Also I like to use one simple tactic that always confuses my opponents. When you use a light hold back on ur left stick so ur attack is a back step then throw the follow up heavy with a forward motion on the left stick..I catch centurions with that every single time. If you parry a heavy just give their dome a light attack followed by a heavy feint..that will normally force a reaction out of them.
Also rep 43 Lawbringer here incase that matters to you lol
My latest video Big Sexy Part 2 in community creations demonstrates the efficiency of my above suggestions btw. In rep 40+ duels
