    OK ! If you adding stuff, what about...?

    So yeah - Team Customisation .... wow.

    Makes you wanna now keep harassing Ubisoft for the other stuff!

    1) KNIFE for the main campaign

    2) Option to disable AI Squad, and play campaign as a Lone insurgent.

    3) More LOAD OUT options.
    Have the option to take one primary weapon only, or pistol or nothing if you choose. To have options about what weapons you take.

    4) Smoke grenades

    5) More Hostage rescue missions - like the first mission in itacua. So you have to extract the hostage to a safe zone also.

    6) a HARDCORE Difficulty -
    - No ammo pickup off fallen enemies unless it matches weapon.
    - Can only change load out at friendly outpost.
    - Enemy ammo crates now only stock limited ammo types e.g AK47, and SMG’s used by Cartel.
    - Load out now includes weight limit.

    - No health regen, now use of medikits and bandages.

    7) RoE toggle button for the Ai Squad. HOLD FIRE or Weapons Free!

    8) Being able to seperate your squad, and give individual orders.

    Fast roping too! Little birds have the arm. Just need the ropes, a control button to fast rope. Maybe drop the rope, then ability to fast rope.

    I was expecting to see your posts again of "disable AI squad instead of fixing it because i say so" but Is it necessary to do two posts about the same exact thing?

    Adding stuff and removing stuff are different things, so an option to disable AI is not going to happen. The Ghosts don’t work alone unless the mission or part of it requires them to do so. They are adding AI customization, for a reason because the AI is here to stay. Is way better to ask for better AI control rather than delete it because is how it should be. Someone here did a post with very good ideas about the AI control, those are the ideas Ubisoft should listen not this.

    Everything else it may be coming but because it isn’t a huge deal it may not be worth mentioning, the knife and smoke grenades for example may be coming in this April 10 update or later but isn’t worth to mentioning like AI customization or a new game plus.

    Now about things like a “hardcore” mode, you can do that for yourself already, change your loadout and pickup ammo only at your friendly post, something I already do unless I found a weapon case which if I want to equip that new weapon it makes sense that I should be able to do it, at that moment. Health regen out? Good luck with that, as every shooter has it nowadays, just don’t upgrade the bullet resistance perk, you will end up dying very fast so no need to worry about health regen (something I already did) Everything else is not as hardcore as you think.

    No offense in anyway just stating my opinion of your opinion.

    Again ? I explained last time - when will you learn... sheesh.

    The original Ghost Recon games allowed you to select your squad for every mission, and it also allowed you to take no one if you wanted to go it alone!

    So yes that was a feature in the original games.

    Secondly.


    When I play the game — I do not upgrade any health, damage, or damage resistance buffs.

    I don’t even upgrade the sprint. Considering the amount of gear you have I think the default sprint is realistic.

    I really don’t upgrade much at all. I like to keep it as realistic as possible.

    Thats what I didn’t like about the DLC - you were forced to play with a heavily upgraded character! Do you know how hard it is to die on FG?!

    Anyway, the only stuff I unlock is the flash bangs, flare, mines, parachute, night and thermal vision, and the drone.
    But most of that can be unlocked with a couple of hours. That’s why I’m not fussed about new game plus.

    With regard to ammo pick up — that’s my problem, unfortunately you automatically pickup ammo from fallen enemies, even if the ammo type does not match.

    Some good points. Especially more commands for your AI teammates (i picture it ideally somewhere similar system as armed assault is using)

    Allow me to add two of my highest priority immersion breaking problems to your list.

    - rework AI spotting / tracking
    No more knowing your exact position because of some indirect mortar fire, random explosions such as c4 or a triggered mine)

    - rework AI Reinforcements
    fewer reinforcement calls, longer traveling times ..but seriously please no more spawning on top of us in the blink of an eye. If thats not possible, give us an option to shut reinforcements down completely.. either by game menu options, or equipment such as com jammers etc.. i'd totally trade alerting a whole Outpost because of jamming activities, if that ensures my flanks are save from instant vehicle rushes

    - increase respawn timers for cleared outposts / destroyed equipment (looking at you SAMs) so that your actions actually matter... even if its only for an ingame day )

    Agree with the SAMS staying destroyed for longer.


    The system of Ai commands in Rainbow 6 Vegas would be an easy fit for this game.
    Having an RoE toggle button would impact tactical options significantly.
    And ‘going loud’ or silent merely depends on the player attaching a silencer or not and the team follow suit.

    Again with what? I don't actually read all of your responses to my comments lol

    I get it, i have played all the Ghost Recon games, including their stand alone expansions.

    But i still have a problem with the idea.

    The first Ghost Recon, didn’t have characters at all…each of the soldiers were just there for you, in case you died, each time you got killed you respawn as one of them, why? Because there isn’t a story for them, they were generic, of course they had names but that’s all lol, no personality no background no faces no actual voice actors for them, just generic voices and empty characters. That’s why that game allowed you to go “lone wolf” so you could have played without respawns basically lol the AI teammates worked as respawns for the player that’s it. Something that changed (for good) on both Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six (RS suffered for the same problem)

    Since GR 2 and RS 3 (although the PC version use generic teammates and not real characters) things are different, there is an actual story for each of your team members were they come from and what they do or thing about the missions you are task with, they help you, something that on the first GR didn’t happen, is more realistic now, the game and the story has changed.

    So yes, your point is flawed because there is no real point lol. The comparison is ridiculous.

    I do agree that they need some work, but disabling the AI? You may be playing the wrong game if you want to lone wolf. (ironically enough wolfs don’t work alone lol)

    I don’t have a problem against the idea if first:

    • They add more commands to the AI
    • They make them obey the players orders better


    Once they do that (which i believe they will) you can ask for it as many times as you want because the game is meant to be played with teammates, so better AI stands above of not AI at all.

    Now to the points of Fallen Ghosts, yes is something I also didn’t like, have all the perks I avoid for a good reason in the main game unlocked and activated, a “hardcore” mode is not going to fix this though. The only real way to fix it, is if they add a way to locked the skills we don’t want, maybe with a new game plus, that way if you started the campaign again you are able to choose what do you want to keep unlock and what should be locked.

    Which is ideal so, people who do want a new game plus can start from the beginning with the weapons and skills unlocked with the added option to lock or unlock skills, that way everybody wins.

    Did you play the originals.......?


    If you take no squadmates with you on a mission - there’s no respawning going on, once you died, your dead.

    Even if you do take men with you, I don’t remember any respawning going on.

    You could also play Terrorist Hunt solo as well.


    Secondly.

    There were missions in the later games when you played as a single operative.

    Thirdly,

    I’m asking for OPTIONS.

    —> The OPTION to play solo, play the game without a squad.


    I’m not suggesting they get rid of the squad.


    I would also like to play WITH the squad AI as well.

    But I would like to see,

    1) a ROE Toggle button (like R6V)
    2) I would like to be able to give individual orders and seperate them.
    3) I’d like to choose their loadout as well.


    As for story, I really don’t care. The story and their dialog is so poorly written, I pay little attention to it.


    * I would also like to see scuba diving gear.

    Yup need them please! Makes so much sense for getting into bases and I always wondered why we did not have them.

    Some additions I would like to see:
    EMP grenandes and smoke grenades.
    Rebel skill to call in an attack helicopter that hovers over your location until destroyed or a period of time.
    Call in different vehicles than what we have now. (helicopter with actual guns, different armored vehicles and such)
    Throw in some new tactical clothing and vests.
