May be pushing my luck asking for this but when you or teammate have your NVG's on then they should be down and sunglasses removed. As for your AI team, if you have your NVG's on active then so should they. This is just one of those finer details that would add to the game.
Little more detail on this....
- Should be able to pick types of NVG's to use.
- If you have a helmet they should be mounted on the helmet.
- If no helmet then just harness mounted.
For sure. Just a helmet accessories tabOriginally Posted by MKINGER Go to original post
This is a feature I would absolutely love. I am totally into the realism of games and will always play night missions with the advanced ballistic helmet (the ones with the NVG's attached)..which was a huge step ahead at the time it was added...But at this point its been given enough time that workable NVG's should have been implemented by now. Especially for a game that leans on the side of realism you would think this would have already been an added feature. Still a good game..but those attentions to detail are what seperates a good game from a great game.
I've seen a few threads on this but idk how much traction its ever gained
This happens because the Ghost don't use NVG's, what the Ghost's do use to have night and thermal visions is the crosscom, while it isn't realistic, the Ghost's have the most advance3d tech, so the crosscom is the way to go for them.Originally Posted by LiLCJ21500 Go to original post
You need to get that crosscom a wedding band. Two of the team members aren't wearing anything unless crosscom comes in contact lenses (I legitimately don't know). Plus, the game seems more contemporary, so NVGs seem like a more plausible tool.Originally Posted by LoneSpymaster Go to original post
And you a wedding band to the NVG's loool, do you plan to invite me to the wedding?Originally Posted by Klaymond Go to original post
Have you played any other GR game? The only member that uses the crosscom is the Ghost Lead, since GR2 only leaders wear the crosscom, that changed on later years of course.
Also taking to acount the fact that this game takes place after GRAW 2 and before GRFS, and we are actually on the same timeline, the crosscom is the way to go, reason why we do have the crosscom available to use while NVG's not, wonder why? Maybe because is what the Ghosts do use?.
And now that we will be able to change our teammates outfits, they can also wear the crosscom.
