    Why "homeopathics"?

Does anyone know why the writers chose to call the boosts "homeopathics"? It makes me think that they don't actually know what homeopathy is, or how it is supposed to work.

If you don't know, homeopathy is a quack medical practice based on pre--19th chentury magical ideas about how disease is caused. It has two basic precepts: like cures like and dilution increases potency. Basically, a homeopath selects ingredients for their "medicine" by giving them to healthy people and recording any symptoms they cause. Then they dilute the ingredient multiple times in water, supposedly infusing the water with some sort of magical reverse essence that will cure the symptoms that ingredient causes.

In short, homeopathy is magic water. Maybe they chose the name intentionally, as a joke?

The furious is pretty hilarious to use and start punching things, the fast one is good if you're on foot and have a ways to go... haven't really used the others. I don't see the point at all in alcohol or "oregano", they're useless, all they do is give you some wavy "drunk" or high effect which serves no purpose... total waste...

Did you actually read what you linked to?

the method of treating disease by drugs, given in minute doses,

    That's the dilution part.

that would produce in a healthy person symptoms similar to those of the disease

That's the "like cures like" part. If you want a more detailed description, check out the Wikipedia article on Homeopathy.

I would think it’s because homeopathy and holistic treatments, and other quack medicines are very popular amongst the population are religiously fundamentalist / extreamist. For whatever reason this part of the population seems to believe that modern medicine, or anything science related really, is some massive conspiracy dreamt up by the government to control the population and trick you into giving up your faith. Since the cult is, well, a cult I guess they figure most modecines and recipes for medicines you’ll find in the area would be of this type.

I have heard of parents not wanting to get their infant babies life-saving surgery because they don't believe in medicine! Then they would ask "is there any homeopathic treatments that will work?"

The people that believe in that s*** are the Quacks...

Homeopathy is not a "quack" form of treatment. People need to understand the universe is so much bigger than can ever be imagined. Here's a link to help get started....

    https://homeopathic.com/samuel-hahne...washington-dc/

Notice it's not exactly pre-19th century and has nothing to do with "magic".
