    The Doghouse

    I've been playing for 5-6 months now, at the start Doghouse was ok, now at lvl 40 it's kinda "meh". Prizes are not good at all, it's not worth it playing it. I still do it every day, but only cause I want to, if I don't do it I would feel the same as if I did it.
    Make it 30days challenge, with tracks and cool prizes, maybe something like this:
    1st Day: 100coins 100xp T1 item
    2nd Day: 250coins 200xp T1 item
    3rd Day: 400coins 300xp T1 item
    4th Day: 550coins 400xp T1 item
    5th Day: 700coins 500xp T2 item 1gem
    .
    .
    .
    9th Day: 1300coins 900xp T1 item 1gem
    10th Day: New T1 Track, 1450coins 1000xp T2 item 2gems
    11th Day: 1600coins 1100xp T2 item 2gems
    .
    .
    .
    15th Day: 2200coins 1500xp T3 item 3gems
    16tg Day: 2350coins 1600xp T2 item 3gems
    .
    .
    20th Day: New T2 Track, 2950coins 2000xp T3 item 4gems
    .
    .
    .
    25th Day: 3700coins 2500xp T4 item 5gems
    26th Day: 3850coins 2600xp T3 item 5gems
    .
    .
    30th Day: New T3 Track, +bonus 10000coins 10000xp T5 item 20gems

    This is just an example (I think later, money is more important than XP), but make it worth playing, and only those who are committed will earn that T3 Track at day 30, also next month prize could be entire outfit (giving you time to make three new tracks), or prepare something like 12 tracks ahed, thats next 4 months reserved.

    To summarize, current Doghouse is boring, with low prizes and no fun. Make it more challenging with better prizes.

    I feel like we've been here before!!


    2 years on, I doubt anyone's changed their views on it.


    It most definitely is not better for new players, this is how it works;


    Puppy Missions
    Day 1 - XP - 100 / Coins - 200 x3
    Day 2 - XP - 200 / Coins - 300 x3 / 1 gem
    Day 3 - XP - 300 / Coins - 400 x3 / 1 gem
    Day 4 - XP - 400 / Coins - 500 x3 / 1 gem
    Day 5 - XP - 500 / Coins - 600 x3 / 1 gem
    Day 6 - XP - 600 / Coins - 800 x3 / 1 gem
    Day 7 - XP - 1000 / Coins - 1200 x3 / 5 gems


    So, over 7 days…


    XP - 3100 / Coins - 12000
    10 gems
    level 1 parts x3
    level 2 parts x3
    level 3 part x1


    -------------------------------


    And this is how the prospector worked; (I'm not 100% sure on the parts but I think it is right)


    Daily Prospecting
    Each Mission
    XP - 900 / Coins - 1800 / 'X' level part


    Total each day (after 3 of 3 missions)
    XP - 2700 / Coins - 5400
    level 1 parts x1
    level 2 parts x1
    level 3 parts x1 (or donut x1) (I can't remember if you always got a level 3 part on the 3rd mission or not)


    Over 7 days…


    XP - 18900 / Coins - 37800
    level 1 parts x7
    level 2 parts x7
    level 3 parts x7? (or donuts x7)?


    -----------------------------


    So, more parts, more coins and way more XP than the puppy. Coins are invaluable for upgrades and levelling up faster increases the fuel tank size faster (1 every 2 levels which is still pretty rubbish to be fair). All of which is way more valuable to new players.


    But Zudina's missions/challenges were even better for XP and coins;


    at least 1850 XP / 1850 coins (not sure how low this went)
    up to 12000+ XP / 12000+ coins per mission plus a donut sometimes


    7 days Total
    ?? Hard to say, but I managed to complete most missions within 2 days, sometimes 2 or 3 a day. Potentially quite a lot of XP and coins.


    I know some people had problems with her missions not working, personally I never did.


    The only thing the doghouse has going for it is gems, but at only 10 a week, you're better off doing 3 vids a day in the saloon although they don't always work anymore I believe!! surprise surprise!!


    If it's going to stay then the streak needs to go way beyond 7 days and the rewards need to get considerably better as the streak continues.

    Keep the dog house. Extend the days, say to, 15. Expand the track selection. Increase the difficulty over days. Include platinum's and more challenging tracks. Increase the rewards. And yes, get rid of start a Showdown.

    i would like to see some "closing" post in these monthly threads where the mods/devs would let us know what they have learned from these discussions and what plans they have in the respective area we had been discussing (guess they have some, and are trying to see if it fits us at least a bit or whatever, and are not asking just out of curiosity throwing our words and ideas into a black hole after the end of the month)

    the way it has been we end up not getting any feedback, which is especially frustrating when the issues discussed are kind of old and we have already heard it all before

    I don't bother at all with the dog house. I can get the same reward doing 1 track vs 3 for one day at doghouse.. I suggest throwing in a blue print for the end of the week or something? Thank you

    I don't like it personally. Maybe turn it into a weekly quest type thing like "complete 50 tracks" or "Do 200 backflips total". The poor pupper tires quite easily though so this may push him too hard.
