Kensei's side dodge attacks have too many iframes

I'm a big fun of the Kebsei rework and I think that the character was put in the right place but there is this one thing that does not look right imo.

Whenever a Kensei is under pressure he can back off and use his range (which is fine). The problem is how much he can delay his side dodge attack. He literallly can wait to see what the opponent is doing and then decide if he just wanna dodge or wanna attack. Most of times there is zero risk for the Kensei if the move is executed properly.

The dodge also has way too many iframes if compared to the rest of the cast. I've been in situations where the Kensei was able to dodge two consecutive attacks with a single dodge. As far as I know this should not be a thing in this game.

    Thanks for reading.

Oh, this new dodge attack are so useful.
Now Kensei just could use alternative defensive meta. Wait while your opponent preform an attack and just dodge with heavy. You really can kill ppl with this. It's easy as hell.
And don't tell me about "feint to GB", it's just too slow on the most of chars. I killed one Shaman, who tried do this, cancel her jump attack to GB. Too slow, I already in the middle of my dodge heavy, sweetheart.
I think for now only Kensei mainers are happy about his rework. Cause kill people in 4v4 mods now easier as ever. I tried myself, and win every single fight I were into. And I even don't know his move sets.

Don't feint into gb; just feint an attack and wait for the atk during their dodge and parry / deflect / superior block it.
This is nothing new. Even assassins can deleay their dodge side attacks - but yes, kensei is something weird on that.

Maybe work in 1v1, but in 4v4 this never gonna happen. You will, probably killed from behind in the middle of this slowly "wait game"

    Seriously ? Kensei hater

    Man,

Kensei has some things a bit OP like the speed of second lights or Zone.. but please don't tell his dash is the ultimate weapon XD
I don't know maybe your matchmaking put you into 4vs4 with noobs only but i totally agree with the fact it is easy as hell to punish the kensei dash if you're a bit smart ! Even in 4vs4.

I am a kensei Main and when i play my others heros and have to fight Kensei, i think i arrive to parry or deflects the Kensei Dash at Least two times each fights which is enough to make the opponent in a big trouble.

Common man let's be honest it just take a bit of skills and a smart play to kill a Kensei dash Spamer

I agree, as an LB i did a push side heavy. Normally it would hit when he would dodge/ dodge attack but he jumped and at the last part he did the side heavy which made him go almost behind me. Seemed a little on the BS side imo

Well, I created this topic to give my feedback on the number of frames that his dodge has, I'm not seeking advice on how to counter it lol but thanks anyway.

The thing is that Kensei has a very long invincibility window during his dodge. He can literally avoid two consecutive attacks if well timed. He can also delay the attack to react to what people are doing instead of taking risks like any other hero. No other hero can do that.

This topic is not about low/mid level dodge spammers.
