    Stuttering

    Hi.

    My config:
    Intel I7 6700K
    ASUS STRIX Z270F (latest bios)
    16GB DDR4 2400Mhz
EVGA GTX 1070 FTW (latest driver).
SSD samsung 840 evo 120GB sata 3 (windows 10, uplay).
SSD Corsair new 128GB series (games).
HD seagate 2TB (far cry 5).
    Dell S2716DG Gsync Monitor.

    In game config:
    1440p
    144Hz
    All utra

I get good fps, however in the game as soon as text appears on the screen, mission texts or as soon as the game save, I have stutter ... A big drop of FPS followed by a rise ...

An idea to solve this annoying problem?

    Thanks.

    Seems weird..

Have you checked your ram and disk usage while in-game, if these or one of these is at 100% I usually get stuttering. Sometimes just switching from fullscreen to windowed and back again, kills the stuttering for me sometimes. But I have yet to have any stuttering on this game, with my 1070, 7700k, and 16gb ram.

Memory usage is ok, now disk has some way I can see without being giving ctrl + alt + del?

Hey Xxdarkshot86xX, these steps may help. If they do not, please create a ticket with MSINFO and DXDIAG.

I'm guessing you have uplay and game folder on different drives?

Yes, uplay is on samsung 840 evo SSD and the game is installed on 2TB seagate HD.

Try to merge them to the same drive - either deinstall/install (backup saves) uplay or move game folder then point it in uplay. It resolved that issue for me.

Check may posts history for more details about this problem.

Its the same like me and several others have, in my opinion this is the games fault you can't do anything against it.

Here a video me talking about that and showcasing it:

I also have this issue, just as described by OP and in the video posted by Hulio225. Pretty much whenever something happens that warrants a notification, the game hitches: when I loot stuff (though it only seems to apply to certain items), when I *approach* a dead animal and get prompted to skin it, when I approach a vehicle vendor, when I discover anything that's got a blip on the map.

I have both the game and Uplay on my SSD which is also my OS drive.

I'll go ahead and create a ticket, but I wanted to add my experience to this thread.
