Hey truesurv1val, for this error code, please try these steps and see if they help. If they do not, please create a ticket with a screenshot of your forwarded ports.
Can you try lowering the budget to 80% and trying to upload the map again? Also please try to upload a brand new map with budget of 90% to see if this works, if you've tried the steps previously posted by UbisofttofuOriginally Posted by truesurv1val Go to original post
Yes I am having the same issue please someone Help. I got a ticket reply for this same issue and the support agent had told me its probably just a bad disc. I call BS. I spent 2 hours creating a team deathmatch map. Working out every detail, testing everything. Perfection. Only to find out that I cannot upload my map because of a bad disc? When just a few moments later I publish a blank canvas with two buildings and a sasquatch. R.I.P. it seems your new map editor can't handle itself.
I agree it is not likely to be a disc error. Could you lower the assets by 10% and try to re-upload the map so we can get more info about this? Also what is the current asset budget percentage of your map?Originally Posted by frankbunny420 Go to original post
To help with our investigation if you could answer the following questions that would be great too:
-What mode did you enter in editor? (Solo & Co-op; Multiplayer; Edit map)
-What game mode did you choose? (Assault; Outpost; Journey; Bounty Hunt)
-Did you use any specific Gameplay Modifiers or Editor Settings?
-Can you provide us with your maps which cannot be published?
Hi there. From what I gathered with my experimentation is it might be a terrain bug. If you have any excessive hills/elevations that touch the edge of the map it wont let you upload. I have a large Bounty Hunt map with hills that run along the edge as a 'barrier' that wont upload. However I also made a TDM map with plenty of hills and assets/memory usage just not touching the edges that uploaded fine.
My own Bounty Hunt map that won't upload is called 'Hostile Valley' if that helps.
I don't know about it being asset/memory related as part of my experimentation I took one of the pre-made random generated options you can select, added the basic fundamentals for validation, and tried to publish as a test. It didn't work. Memory usage was about 7%
That's really useful information thank you, i'll make sure to pass this alongOriginally Posted by DarkHed1985 Go to original post![]()
FrAnK here. As of today I have been testing and creating a base defense map set on a farm. I have approx 8 buildings and a few other items scattered. I have a road leading up to it and trees that surround the map and 3 waves of enemies including vehicles. I had three types of trees and 3 types of textures. One for grass one for the wheat field and one for the road. I had just created a map exactly like this but I ran into the Redhorn error. So this time I kept it 100% flat. Upon completion I was sad when I ran into the error again. (And I worked so hard) so i began trying to dial it back or dumb it down. I deleted the farm life. Deleted a few vehicles. It did nothing. Deleted all the trees. It did nothing... I deleted all the A.I but one.... nothing... I deleted all of the textures.... woah! It uploaded. So I went back and undid everything. And got rid of the textures and I ran into the Redhorn error again. Sad yes but this was progress... I continue to dumb it down. Taking our a few vehicles and the farm animals. And I got a successful upload with no textures and three waves of A.I. with two vehicles. Fuxxxing textures man. My uploaded map is a CO OP Assault map called "FrAnK's D-FENCE" if you change the texture to anything but blank you get the Redhorn error, enjoy. Other unpublished maps include: "FrAnK's Survival II" "FrAnK's Survival III" "FrAnK's Arena" "FrAnK's Arena II" "Battle for Big Sky" and "Small Town Escape" all have the same issue. Basically everything I've made is useless![]()
