    Flashlight? Cant turn one on?

So I have read a few people complaining about not being able to turn OFF the flashlight in Far Cry 5 in dark areas. I am having the opposite issue. I cannot see a thing in dark areas and I have had to turn my PC brightness all the way up just to be able to play in dark areas of the game (caves etc). Please can someone tell me how to fix my issue, I have played 3/4 of the game this way so far and I just assumed there was no flashlight in game.

If you are running AMD video card, then try the optional driver package listed as 18.3.4 in the options, that fixed it for me and gave really good boosts to performance.

If you are running Nvidea...well, no clue, maybe a driver or reinstall of one after clean uninstall??

It sounds like a glitch if the torch is not automatically switching on in dark areas. It is supposed to switch on automatically when you go into certain dark areas.

I would love to have the option to switch a flashlight ON and OFF manually. I am doing this dark map in Arcade.. but its usless since I have no flashlight.

Ubisoft, please fix a proper flashlight in the game

I have had the opposite problem with the flashlight being way too bright and no ability to turn it off makes it VERY difficult to navigate in certain areas. Having to adjust my monitor or settings in game seems like a very annoying "band-aid" for such a short period of time, then having to put settings back.

I did a prepper stash yesterday in the dark with no flashlight. I just had to move the controls in every direction for ages until i saw a spec of light and finally found my way to the loot.
