    D3FNC 6 piece build?

I finally got my last piece for D3FNC. Should I build it with 6k or 9k stamina?

If you want to be able to do a good amount of damage to NPCs then go with 6K...that's what I did.

9k should get you a shield with a bit over 2 million HP, there or thereabouts. More than enough for anything you'll ever need in PvE, especially if you pair it with Ballistic Shield Damage Resilience mods. You'll be damn near unkillable if you include Recovery Link for your super.

That being said, your DPS will suffer, but equipping pulse can help give you a bit of a boost there. (Or having someone in your group with high skill power who runs it, ideally.)

Personally, I like running 4 piece with 6k stamina, savage gloves, and specialized backpack (which helps out so my skill power isn't total s**t). Yields right around 1.1 million shield health, which is plenty as long as you don't go total Rambo 100% of the time. Throw in some purple FA/Damage to Elites mods (there is a decent one available right now at the BoO gear vendor upstairs...thanks JayKay!), add some EAD rolls wherever possible, and you have enough firepower to shred elites like tissue paper, while still having good survivability. Very fun build when you want to get aggressive and up in guys' faces.

I run both. It depends what you are doing. For resistance the 9k is great because you can really take a punishing, and the extra health makes Predatory put in some serious work. Would use the 9k in the DZ if that is your thing. My 6k is a damage build where I run a ninja bag, 2 pred (8% damage), 3 D3, with an AR as a secondary. The damage is quite a bit heavier. In either case you need to hit 125k skillpower to get the most out of the Shield scaling.

Thanks JayKay, I’ll try it out! I’ve got enough pieces to build that and a 9k stam 6 piece build.

I go with 9k. Grab The House or Navy MP5 and roll it with Deadly (for the MP5 get Responsive in the free slot) and whatever else you prefer. Roll SMG damage, crit damage and crit chance on your gloves and you still have pretty good damage. If you aren't going to use the 9k Build, I would mix and match with a Ninjabag with either 3 piece Pred for PvP or 3 piece Nomad for PvE.

I run a 9k. As others have said, it makes you invincible. Just make sure you also get 125k skill power. You won't even need the performance mods. I have support station mods instead. Since your survivability is so high you could also run a flash bang and have sticky bomb mods. You can get achieve 125k skill power from the skill power major attributes and a single gear mod with skill power on it.

The 9k isn't high DPS but it's not horrible like a skill build. It's middle of the range. I use the build in certain situations like when you know 5-10 rushers are gonna be running at you in a legendary mission or heroic incursion. I have plenty of other builds that work as high DPS builds for me, I don't need this one to be.

I only run 9k stamina (10k stamina in Skirmish due to normalization). The shield does not die in 1v1 and many 1v2s. My shield HP is 2.3mill. Most fights I don't even have to use medkits. I would not run it solo in the DZ, as it seriously affects your movement.

    9k Stam.
120k Skill Power (to maximize shield health @ 2,350,001 HP)
    For mods 1 STA/sp mod & 4 FA/sp mods (to hit the 120k sp)
4 x Ballistic Shield Damage Resilience mods

Talents just make sure to take the heal tree one that heals proxies (your shield) and the security one to take less dmg when you make a kill while moving.

Skills I take shield, overheal (second skill in healing tree, I forget the name atm) and recovery link for signature.

I run house with predatory and the 6% health per kill (forget the name atm) because all overheal go to healing your shield.

    Basically unkillable in any PVE.
