You know what would totally work in this setting?

.... A Wild West Far Cry.

I keep getting huge western vibes (which it technically still may be, albeit a modern one) whenever i'm roaming the map.
The Montana setting is awesome and i would love it if UBI did a Primal and retooled the entire map for a wild west Far Cry game:

Give us six-shooters, horses to ride, stagecoaches to blow up, gold to dig up, banks to rob and shoot outs at noon!

I think the FC formula would work really well in the wild west. Outposts could be small settlements and dusty towns, mines, indian camps, etc.

Sure, you would obviously lose the flying parts but maybe give us the Primal Owl or the AC;Origins Eagle and we'd be set.

They could even ride the Red Dead redemption 2 wave if they would do this (meaning everyone would totally grab another wild west game i think, it's an underrated and under used setting anyway)

I remember the Call of Juarez games and Bound in Blood had semi-open world parts with worked really well. First person horseback riding' and all!

    Any thoughts?

Thoughts? There are already too many rinse and repeat titles or mechanics out there. FC doesn't need to be one of them.

In all honesty, FC5 will likely be my last Ubi title I buy for a long while. When RDR2 comes out, I'll be all over it. I'll get my western fix then.

Rinse and repeat formula..sure. But i'm talking about setting here. It's not like the market is flooded with wild west themed games, is it?

Anyway, I'm definitely buying RDR2 but that doesn't mean i wouldn't pick up a FC wild west shooter.
