These 4 are HOPEFULLY the next reworks/balance passes..... but (if I'm not mistaking) no official word on whos nextOriginally Posted by Trenk2009 Go to original post
I dont quite see how it will be done..
What can you give them??
The Kensei in 4v4 is just a lot of everything.
- range
- fast lights. Doing 26 damage or whatever at rep 8?? (recorded that yesterday)
- dodge HEAVY (ridicilous, why isnt it a light??)
- fast zone with a second hit ( can be useful as it is a HEAVY)
- massive mix ups
- "aoe" type 40 dam side heavy. i just spam it in melee with many opponents. it is like an aoe DOT
- unblockables
How the heck can the Orochi hope to match this?..
He shall just counter attack, right?
I find it ridicilous that Kensei have any damage above 30 for ANY attack with the above arsenal!!
The Kenseisn I see playing 4v4 are either Cheesy type or they get disgustwøes by their 14-1 scores and leave after a few rounds. We are talking rep 50+ fights here.
sorry for gripes... it is just nauseating for a Valk and Orochi main.
Paraphrasing from Candle's WD recap:
So the official word is that we're unable to "name names" at this point, sorry. Stay tuned!Next reworks and are there going to be new heroes added? Can't say who, maybe a lower number than season 5, teams are working on hard on them and they can maybe start discussing in a few weeks. One of those heroes is highly requested. Right now they are more focused on reworks than new heroes.
Considering what was said above plus they said not all heros will be reworked (obvious for some heros like shaman) and finally how season 5's heros went down i'd say they would pick the next couple that are popular. Plus one that would be considered a priority.
To me I think warden and orochi are without question going to be next. Both have been religiously played from start till present. And you see their reworks suggested basically everywhere.
And assuming we only get 3 reworks next season that means we get 1 that's a priority. To me that would either be lawbringer or shugoki. Both are very gimmicky and rely on a pretty poorly implemented mechanic. (shove on block and passive armor.)
Of course bushi and HL were more like balance passes. And providing they don't lead people on with the rework tag again it could mean instead of getting 3 reworked heros next season we might only get 2 (since they said one of the heros is highly requested. meaning more than one for sure.) and then potentially we get 1 or 2 or more rebalances. Which if anything is where we'd more than likely see dlc heros. Since while some of them have some poor attacks or mechanics none of them need more help compared to the OG roster. And from what i've understood that was their main target of reworks.
So not counting the dlc part of the roster heros I think that will get touched last would be warlord and valk. Warlord is still mostly fine as is. (not saying he can't be touched up. he's just not in danger.) and even though valk isn't in a great spot she's very underplayed. So I doubt she'll be rushed to be buffed anytime soon.
I agree, as an defensive hero the most frustrating part is that the enemy can just reset the fight everytime you try to do something and you cant follow them becouse your kit doesnt allow to. I am not so greedy to say we have to go first because valk and orochi need this to.Originally Posted by Tyrjo Go to original post
valk is pretty simple to fix in my opinion, she has good moves and a good kit, it's enough to make it possible to counter guard-break after missing special attacks or just make her less punishable in another way..
and maybe fix that zone and those horrible heavies...
the thing is, most heroes don't need a kensei-like rework, but just some refinement. just do it ...
(but please completely change warden he's boring to play with and against)
