I have to be within 130 meters of my partner or I face a soft kill boundary? One of the most anticipated things to do for me was to do strafing runs with my friend on the ground, and I guess I won't be doing that. I mean I guess choppers are okay, but your only aerial vehicle with the minigun is the plane, which I can't use. Pretty much sums up my experience so far - lots of fun for a little while until I start encountering the limitations of this game's engine.

You got the basics right, but screwed up or overlooked a lot of specific things. That criticism has been the same for four straight games, starting with Far Cry 3, although at least then this system felt new.

The Prestige and "modernized" version of weapons have no actual differences besides visual. 4 SMGs and THREE of them are MP5 variants? The vehicles are little more than skins, with little performance differences besides "this one does/doesn't have a gun on it". And why can't I have more than one other player for co-op? You got 4+ seats in a bunch of these vehicles but I suppose that's just for your AI companions isn't it? What happened to bladed weapons and takedowns? I miss those.

You had no problems reusing old assets for your map editor, so why not just port old weapons and takedown animations over? This is obviously the same engine, so what's the problem? Don't get me wrong, I've had fun with this game (when it allows it), but it just feels so half-assed in some areas.
