Phew. I am happy that I am not alone in hating this part of the game.Originally Posted by mortified621 Go to original post
I have only talked to one other person about the issue with being drugged and dragged. And he loves it.
I ABSOLUTELY hate this part. And if that wasn't enough, the autocompletion makes matters even worse.
I tried playing through this game twice, really changing tatics on second playthrough. Only going for a couple of specialists and then hitting all the prepper stasches. Thinking that I could delay the madness long enough to play through mission, at my own accord.
But no. You simply rake up resistance points too fast.
I'm seriously thinking about quiting all together.
Too bad, cause overall it's a great game, but these mechanics is ruining the experience.
Totally agree. This is the most wrongheaded POS since FC2 ! Does anyone realize they will have to sit through the complete 30 minute intro in its entirety EACH TIME they want to start a New Game ? You can't Esc through it........absolutely mind-numbing. I've played every FC but this one is the worst.
if you look away from them with the PS4 controller it gives you an option to hit the circle button to skip the cutscene at least it did for meOriginally Posted by SquinkyDnky Go to original post
For all you older gamers here, I found a way to at least get lots of money so the game gets a bit easier. There is an unnamed lake in a deep valley, in Jakob's territory, far NW, just above Cedar Lake. Plenty of game there, and a gun dealer camping on the lake. Easiest access is with heli. So the first opportunity for a heli might be when you're captured and have to rescue Merle. After that mission, take the heli you just were rescued with, and fly up to this lake. You can shoot game there and redeem it until you get a 3rd holster, then a larger ammo capacity for your weapons, more health, etc, from the many perk points you get for shooting and skinning the game. There are also peggies to kill and cougars and bears as well as elk, moose, deer too. Gets the game off to a much better start when you have $15K, rather than $500.Originally Posted by rioseven Go to original post
I am 68 years old, and have enjoyed all the Far Crys... until this one. On the first run through, I got as far as being captured after completing about 20% (?). of the game. I don't do well in situations where I have to beat the clock (hate it!), and so after 10 or 12 attempts to fight my way out of the full house with a pistol, I started a new game. I play with the sound off, for I find the cult drivel very depressing, and a real downer. I just got captured again after 10-15%, and so I quit. I shall look foe a better game (non ubisoft). Pity... I like the unhurried tactical dealings with the outposts. Ahh well...
