BTW, for me at least, the difficulty of the captures aren't the issue. It is being repeatedly and randomly pulled from the open world to a non-bypassable event. Instead of telling an in-game narrative, they take the easy route and force these mini-movies to tell the story.
Some of us also have motion sickness issues and FC's series drugged effects can real bother us. Why are they obsessed with drugged effects in their games?
Are you kidding?!Originally Posted by Bambihunter1971 Go to original postNon-bypassable event. This is a Game! Train! Nothing spoils a game like easy-passable event! If Capture Party so difficult for you.......try Bloodborne!
You will understand what "non-bypassable" event means! Ludwig will explain it to you quickly!

You get captured or "blissed" or taken (term varies with area) about 4 times per area. Only one that is really acceptable is going to the church at the end for John's area since you get to choose when you want to do that one....which is the only one that allows it.Originally Posted by flybyme Go to original post
If most of them were like the church, and allowing you to decide when to progress, then people really wouldn't complain so much. But honestly, to be flying along and hearing a arrow hit you and poof, you are taken....yeah, I think they MAY have patched that exact happening out, but still, land the plane and thunk...taken....
Yeah, the arrow thing happened to me while I was flying around. Being captured was already a bother in Far Cry 3 but having it happen over and over again like in Far Cry 5 is just a pain.
There is a little thing called suspension of disbelief and if the game is going to take away any sense of player agency from me then chances are I won't care anymore.
Truthfully after completing Jacob's line I was getting sick and tired of the game so much that I couldn't wait to be done in order to uninstall the whole thing without even bothering with the DLC.
