Hello Ubisoft devs, Im here to give you my feedback about the Far Cry 5. I must say that the game is more than i expected. I like it a lot and by my opinion its definitly something new than the previous Far Cry games. There is a few things in the games that could be improoved, some bugs i found aswell for example sometimes in a Falls End bar there is a guy sitting in the air with mug and sandwitch instead of sitting on chair by table. Another thing i would suggest you guys is dont sweep this game away from the table after you release it. I thing this game has a huge potential and things that i would love in a future for this game would be some DLCs, this game with 1 or 2 DLCs would be fu**ing awesome
I would suggest is if you will do some DLCs for a future in this game give us some more weapons arsenal, new rifles and etc. I would love to see for example M16, SCAR, L115, M98B or maybe even M107, Desert Eagle and just more weapons, oh and last thing i forget to mention that is driving me a nuts for a bit is bullet penetration, like this is really ridiculous when someone is hiding behind 1 cm thick sheet metal and bullets are not flying trough but the sheet metal will stop the bullets, even when you are using breaktrough ammo you are not able to penetrate materials that are fragile and should be penetrate able, so if this would be improoved i thing lot of people would be happy by that i know it means that even players themselfs gona need to take cover behind something that will really cover him and not behind some thin wooden wall but thats what will give the players more adrenaline into the blood. But so far im happy with the game, its really something that im not reggreting that i bought it. I like Far Cry 5 a lot and i will play it a lot. But think about those improovments that are writed here
With regards

I can tell you that you're right, this game has a huge potential.
I'm Just playing with It and It is very nice.
Yes they have to add more weapons to the game, for sure 3 different rifles (Scar,m16 and famas could be a good solution), one granade Launcher as the m32 , the desert eagle as handgun and a portable minigun ( like terror 4000 from Blood and Dragon ) could be awesome.
These suggestions will help a lot to improve this game![]()
There are already 3 DLCs planned with the Season Pass.Originally Posted by Sky4ngel97_CZ Go to original post
There is also the Arcade.
I really like everything but the main missions, all the forced mission and "character idiocy" really killed that for me. The shooting is OK, but the game has quite some collision model problems. I am very disappointed by the tiny weapon selection. The cheaty implementation of the LMG heavies and VIPs, that can take 50 cals to the head and not die, are a bit annoying, so is the rather "simpel" AI.
Here are my thoughts after three days (and having played all the other Far Cry games):
1- As many have noted, the "random encounters" are far too frequent. If you need a vehicle, stand in the road for 15 seconds and a cultist truck will show up ready for you to kill the cultists and take it. In the time it takes to kill the cultists, another truck will arrive and so on until 4 or 5 trucks are there. I remember quitting Far Cry 2 because of this. How can the the cultists tell, driving at 50 mph down the road that I'm an enemy from behind when I'm dressed like a regular person (or for that matter when I'm driving one of THEIR trucks the opposite direction at 50 mph)? So the best way to get around (barring a helicopter) is going across country except:
2- The outdoors is like walking through a zoo enclosure, it's so packed with animals. I'll be honest, I love the Far Cry series but I never thought the random animal attacks were very fun. Planning a base attack and having an animal attack me after 30 minutes of work and ruining the whole thing is like playing chess while someone is constantly flicking your ear. No one could live in these places if animal attacks were as frequent as FC3 and FC4! But in FC5 it feels like wall to wall dangerous animals. As above the random encounters are just too frequent.
3- Precision plane control is all but impossible on the keyboard (and I always use mouse/keyboard for FPS) which makes the Clutch Nixon (Legend in Heaven, Legend in Hell) missions impossible.
4- I feel the inventory system/weapons wheel is more complicated than FC4, especially crafting and choosing between explosives. Hold Q, click, then mousewheel. It's all sorta pat your head and rub your tummy on a unicycle. If you need something in hurry it can be a little frustrating.
It's a great setting (I haven't seen enough of it yet to comment on the story) and there is fun to be had but I almost wonder if I should stop and see if the encounters aren't toned down in the future.
Hi,
First of all, I would like to say that I am enjoying the game overall.
However, I think that in terms of the story and debth of it, there are a few things that can be done in order to improve things going forward.
The issue in this game to me is that I felt disconnected from my own character. He did not feel human, more like a machine getting bossed around to do errands for others.
If we look at great story driven games there is a connection that heavily involves the player because they get emotionally invested in a game. You feel with your player throughout the story, the hate towards the villain, the revenge because they have captured, tortured or even killed your brother/mother/father/friends. This is something that can be improved imo as it would invest players further in the story. If your character does not feel or at least involve you in decisions you make (good or evil), you do not have a saying in how you progress in the game. Kind of too linear if you catch my drift. Other than that I had fun.
Far Cry 3 is one of the most amazing game I have ever played. Please bring that kind of magic back!
Oh, and please.. NPCs stealing my chopper is messed up, even allied NPCs are taking off with it from time to time. In anger I've shot the damned thing down, fast travelling back to base to get another, and then fly back to continue whatever it was I was doing.
Far cry 5 is a beautiful game with immersive enviornments. Its one of the best looking games for consoles to date. The main villains are introduced well and play out well in the game, all the cutscenes and voice acting are phenomenal and sounds are better than ever. However... I didn't enjoy this game. Compared to other far cry games this is almost immersion breaking. The story isn't groundbreaking and the only characters you connect ones are ones that somehow involve previous games. You guys need to re-invent or rather re-master this game like Assassin's Creed because origins was an amazing game and I loved every second. I feel like I was ripped off paying 60 dollars for this game, it's basically Wildlands and Dying Light mixed together. I've given Ubisoft a lot of trust and money in my life and I just wish they would take a few years to make a game they sell at AAA prices. I urge Ubisoft to go back to their roots and play the old Far Cry games, Far cry 2 is so realistic you can shoot the leaves off of bushes, you have to put down your dying companions you feel for them everytime. The gun jams! The healing animations! What about all these Brutal destructive things that made far cry well, Far cry. I also experienced a number of almost game breaking bugs in far cry 5. Which also happened to me in wildlands, I do have a game breaking glitch in wildlands that still affects me today, There's no fix, no one seems to have the issue, anyway Far Cry 5 is not better than any of the predecessors and Is not worth $60 whatsoever. There's a video on YouTube comparing Far Cry 5 and Far Cry 2 https://youtu.be/FCeEvQ68jY8 which shows how unpolished this game really is. Please do not make me stay away from Ubisoft forever like I almost did after the division.
