Audience: If your game launches from Steam, loads the UPlay splash screen, but not the second splash screen (grw.exe and rungame.exe close immediately after easyanticheat.exe loads). Anyone who has tried other solutions posted in this forum, or sought Ubisoft support with unsuccessful results.

Step by step:
- open WIN+R and type 'msinfo32'
- go to "System Environment" and then to "System Drivers"
- search for this line: NoEasyAntiCheat (it is a part of Cheathappens-Trainers - if u have this line, u used it
) (it's directly under "netvsc")
- if u got this line, u will find the driver at: c:\users\*name*\cheathappens\work\eacguard.sys
- - you can't delete it now, cause it's already in use - -
- start the pc in safe-mode (u can use "msconfig" and the register 'Start' - then the system will automatically reboots in safe-mode)
- now u can delete it (don't forget to change it under "msconfig", if u used it)
- game will launch after reboot

I legitimately own this game through Steam and I've logged nearly 40 hours into it with a friend. I admit I had significant trouble and frustration in the Predator fight (still haven't won that battle), but I don't recall seeking assistance from any trainers. Regardless, this appears to have fixed the game for me.
