Color is flashing when turning camera.

When turning the camera near grassy areas the color flashes in and out. It also causes the edges of the screen to blur making it look like it's under water. It is very annoying.

    Hello Peacetokengy,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The blurring would likely be due to Motion Blur. In terms of the colour flash, is it colours on the screen or the colour of the grass?

    Thank you

    I'm experiencing the same problem.
Whenever I look or turn left or right. The screen glows blue, green, and red.

I don't experience this issue on any other games. Except for Far Cry 5.

I'm using the Xbox One X with a 4k Toshiba TV.

I will see if I can replicate it on my Samsung monitor.

It is grass, rocks, and trees that flash. The rocks almost look like they are vibrating when turning the camera. I also am not under the effect of bliss when this is happening.

Thanks for getting back to us

Could you provide some video examples of this happening?

    Same issue with flickering

While moving the camera, the trees and glass flash black and white. Can’t even play the game, playing on a brand new Xbox one x and 4K HDR tv.

    Hey,

Can you please record some footage and upload it through PS4 share play so we can take a look? If you could send me the link once it's uploaded here that would be great, thanks!

I have the same problem and it happens when moving the right stick infront of foliage etc. in hdr mode and disappears when hdr is turned off.

    Hey,

Would it be possible for you to get some recorded footage direct from the console so we can verify if the flickering is happening in-game or if it might be a TV settings issue? I've not seen too many reports of this and I know TV settings can cause a lot of hassle. If you're on PS4 you can use the share play option to record your gameplay, then you can crop it and upload it to YouTube so I can check it out.

    Same problem

Got the game two days ago and I am experiencing the same problem. It seems to be the same issue as the video from Primal above is showing.

I'm on a standard PS4 slim and the repro is as simple as moving the camera when looking at grass, bushes or tree leafs. Any foliage really. It is highly distracting and while it doesn't directly impact gameplay, it's close to game breaking in a way. Maybe get in touch with the Primal team, if they had this issue, it's likely somewhere in the engine since I'm sure FC5 is using the same or same-ish tech.
