    Low FPS + Edge Ghosting

    Hi,

My PC specs are Xeon E5-2670 CPU + 32 GB RAM + 8GB Quadro K5200 video card.

I am trying to run Far Cry5 at High settings and I am getting some ghosting problems. This is most visible when moving the camera. When I do, the edges of characters and objects have this ghosting effect. Also I get this really bad motion blur problem. It looks like the game is running at 24 fps.

Even at the lowest settings, it won't go past 45 fps. the only thing that makes a difference is setting the resolution to 1280x720 which makes the entire game look very bad.

If I put everything on High and disable Motion Blur, the VRAM shows 2.88 / 7.66. So, I have a lot of video ram to spare.

I have the latest Quadro drivers installed.

Is there anything I can do to make it better?

So you have a Xeon CPU (Sandy Bridge EP) with a Nvidia Quadro K5200 (Nvidia GTX 780/ 780Ti Gaming card).
You can two components which was originally designed for Workstations and CAD work.
Quadro GPU's tend to have lower clocks as well then their Gaming brothers.

Now here is the thing Quadro card drivers are not optimised for games which doesn't help i know however have you tried using Nvidia Geforce Drivers for the GTX 700 series and modding them to include your GPU Device ID? Have you set your system to use Max performance ?

You could try and add a slight Overclock to the GPU to see if that helps.
