I'm on the atonement mission for John if there is some sort of story block on getting her well on certain missions but Ive seen some people never find her after completing the story for John. I need a fix, can anyone help?

I literally just finished this. I had the same issue. You have to defeat John and The Atonement quest. Once complete, go back to the Lamb of God church. Again, there will be bad guys shooting up the church. But this time you'll actually see Grace.

Ok so has anyone ever fixed this? Or found a way to restart the mission? Everything mentioned above continues to happen in 2020!!

    What gives?

Yup, still an issue in 2020. I already have Grace as my companion, I defended the 3 graves but the icon keeps coming up, saying "this is Grace, campin'out at the Lamb of God Church.
    Annoying.

    Hello everyone,

We received reports of characters' icons remaining stuck after their missions were completed, however the devs were unable to reliably reproduce these, and as such a fix could not be planned or implemented.

To try and address these issues I would recommend attempting to complete other unrelated missions on the map, or reverting to an older save before starting the affected mission, to test whether completing it afresh prevents the issue from reoccurring. I sincerely apologise that there are no plans at this time to implement a fix for this issue.

    Hey folks,

As my colleague previously highlighted, the dev team looked into this issue and couldn't reliably reproduce the issue, so a fix couldn't be implemented. At this time, we do not have any plans to implement a fix for the issue, but I've passed on your feedback about this.

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

So, what they just gave up? Can they not download data from affected players? This is just one of several annoying glitches I've found on my play through of the game.not one appears to have been fixed thus far. But I suppose if it gets left long enough people will stop caring because the game is old....
