Sorry, I tried to edit the title but it only saved as op's title (Brazilian dubber working on SC7?) I was busy and when I came back people already joined the discussion so I didn't want to delete the thread for that.
i can't be excited about it since i know that whatever ubi decides to do with it chances are it will be open-world/online focused, play it your way unless we tell you otherwise, "live-service" product filled with some good ol' micro-transactions to complete the package, none of their latest games that follow this ideology are of interest to me.
I hope i am wrong, i don't want to be negative, but this is how i feel.
I'm worried too.
Sam being back is a good thing if Ironside comes back, otherwise they should have gone with a new agent, or reboot the series.
As we know he's back. It would be nice if they reboot the series, or re-release the trilogy/quadrilogy and make us forget that conviction and blacklist happened. I want the old team back (3E, and Lambert, the REAL Grim etc.).
In my opinion Clint Hocking is the only hope to bring this franchise back in the right track.
Maxime Beland is a creative and very professionnal person which had created nice concepts but I think his philosophy of making games doesn't fit at all with Splinter Cell and its spirit. So I hope he isn't working on SC7.
Fully agree.
Yeah the campaign is a disappointment, Atleast, now people can play custom maps online.
- 1st : Respectful, hardcore fans who have worked a day in their life. want to see change but appreciate SC's attempt to evolve. Glass half full.
- 2nd : Hardcore fans who haven't worked a day in their life. And salty because their favourite game isn't going the direction they want it. Glass half empty.
What does that even mean? I think that the six entries were all good games. But the last two were horse**** Splinter Cell games. People have opinions.
Oh we have and the games we have gotten are 85% Generic Linear First Person shooters, 10% Multiplayer only games, and 5% Zombie games. How innovative. Surely these are the times to be living in... glad we "moved on".
I'm glad too. So glad that i'm playing/replaying just old games now.
