He posted a Sam Fisher picture on his Instagram account with the caption "Voltando a dublar um velho amigo", which actually means "coming back to dub an old friend" then some moments later he deleted it.

Hints keep pilling up, SC7 is all but confirmed, however even though i am interested and will watch this years E3 hoping for the best, i can't be excited about it since i know that whatever ubi decides to do with it chances are it will be open-world/online focused, play it your way unless we tell you otherwise, "live-service" product filled with some good ol' micro-transactions to complete the package, none of their latest games that follow this ideology are of interest to me.
I hope i am wrong, i don't want to be negative, but this is how i feel.
Sam being back is a good thing if Ironside comes back, otherwise they should have gone with a new agent, or reboot the series.
Maybe if we are lucky they will announce a Classic Trilogy Collection, with HD visuals and extras, i would gladly purchase that.
In my opinion Clint Hocking is the only hope to bring this franchise back in the right track.
Maxime Beland is a creative and very professionnal person which had created nice concepts but I think his philosophy of making games doesn't fit at all with Splinter Cell and its spirit. So I hope he isn't working on SC7.
And it's hard to trust Ubisoft those days. They made quite a good job recently with AC Origins, even if the game isn't perfect. But Far Cry 5 looks very disappointing and shows how sometimes Ubisoft doesn't want to innovate because it would be too risky or too expensive. And what about the recent "Outbreak" event in R6 Siege with zombies. I never thought I would see zombies in a Tom Clancy's game, and I never wanted it...
So I don't know what to think about a new Splinter Cell game right now. I guess I would be ready to wait 5 more years (even 10 years) until Clint Hocking accepts to come back on that franchise.
Maxime Beland gave us Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield which is often accepted as the best in the series. Maxime Beland isn't a completely useless person, but when it comes to ideas in Splinter Cell, he is a f'ing IDIOTMaxime Beland is a creative and very professionnal person which had created nice concepts but I think his philosophy of making games doesn't fit at all with Splinter Cell and its spirit. Whatever happened to respect, example and manners from SENIOR members?!Originally Posted by EddieTheBunny2 Go to original post
I respect Maxime Béland for his work on Splinter Cell. Despite a change of creative would be welcome.
We talk about how important it is to have the original voice actors all the time. And it is indeed extremely important. But something that isn't often mentioned is how Irving Lambert NEEDS to return somehow some way. He wasn't just some side character. It still won't feel like Splinter Cell even if Michael Ironside returns if Irving Lambert doesn't return. I wouldn't mind a reboot of Splinter Cell if it was a way for them to make the game basically a sequel to Chaos Theory with all the same voice actors and bring Lambert back. Clint Hocking possibly being involved with Splinter Cell 7 is the only thing that makes me have ANY hope that Splinter Cell could return to it's roots and not just be another Conviction/Blacklist.
Wow! I didn't know that. Rainbow Six 3 is CLASSIC Tom Clancy at it's very best. But how much of a role did he actually have in the making of that game?Originally Posted by EddieTheBunny2 Go to original post
