Why is difficulty so easy? I'm playing on hard and still cant get much challenge.
Not saying I havent died a few times, but not often and I've played about 3 hours already.
It feels very unbalanced.
Weak difficulty encourages rush tactics. I mean why use stealth when you can just rush in guns blazing?
It also means you miss out on enjoyable gameplay because its over pretty quick and you dont have to think much.
And then theres the unlimited ammo on the road. Just go to a highway and wait for the NPC's to drive past and pick them off.
They just keep coming, fast and frequent, bringing supplies with them. It feels like a cheat.
I'd prefer another level of difficulty where the NPC's can move a little faster. I think one issue is that they're too slow.
The VIP's arent much better.
I like the tagging, but I'd prefer the enemy wasnt vissible through walls. That would help. In what universe does that even make sense anyway?
I want to be able to tag, thats a FC trademark, so I dont want to turn it off completely. It should be limited to when they're in sight. At least give an option to do that.
Does anyone know if the difficulty ramps up as you go further in? I assume it doesnt?
I'm playing on Normal. Have died a few times. But I must say the difficulty it's right on the spot, nodding towards 'easy' for me.
I even purposely drive and fight on the road as how some people are suggesting that the game is too chaotic, but so far it's very do-able.
It gives me impression that some players are just really bad in this game. I really freaking hope they don't nerf this...

It’s a real issue. No other FC game did I have any issue with, you could tailor it to be HARD, no upgrading health buffs, disabling manual healing.
But previous games HARD was a reasonable challenge.
They really need to fix this.
For those saying they’re dying a lot - I’m like wow, you guys must be committing suicide.
I’ve died once - during that ‘on rails’ chase at the beginning. It’s always the way - linear scripted set pieces are usually the choke points, but dying seems unfair at these points.
A MAJOR PROBLEM IS THE REGENERATING HEALTH....
You’re effectively Wolverine - it’s completely ridiculous! You heal so fast that it’s almost impossible to die — Med Kits are redundant...
It’s honestly ruining the game for me....
my biggest problem with difficulty is the fact that the AI is deaf and blind ...
no other farcry game had it this bad.
you can SPRINT up to an enemy from behind and do a takedown and no one will even hear you, its ridiculous at times...
other example: shot a guy from around 30m away with a .50cal sniper and the dude standing 10m next to him didnt even flinch.
sadly the same holds true for the guns for hire, they are insanely stupid, when you command them they may take up to a minute to actually do something, etc etc.
the game in general is fun, but the AI seems stupid, deaf, blind and at times broken.
