I can sympathize with this very mission and had a similar experience on a few of the Wingsuit missions too.
Needed to use my controller to fly but couldn't consistently get a jump start on the wing ones with a controller.
45 mins of nose diving 10 feet and waiting for the reload I got into a jump with the keyboard, fly with the Controller combo.
Eventually did it a few goes later. Using XBox1 wired on USB FWIW.
Yes you can progress without flying, riding or driving. Some missions will remain undone.Originally Posted by DanloJr Go to original post

Now, this is a wrong statement. I will admit the controls using mouse aren't great, but they do exist in GRW. I know because I currently use them when I absolutely HAVE to fly a plane. I do like the Helo controls much better in FC5 and wish GRW would lean much heavier towards FC5 controls. But they are what they are, and GRW does have mouse control of flight, it is just more technical than move mouse right plane turns like a car to the right.....because when you move the mouse to the right the plane banks right and you pull back some to make the turn...takes some getting used too.Originally Posted by DanloJr Go to original post
Classic Controls are available for controller, not KB&M. Us KB&M players, who got video games going by the way, get short changed again.
To turn tight you have to do some finger tangling. First pitch the nose up. Then hit the A or D at the same time you hit S. This will roll you over and then the elevator will turn you in a tight turn once you are on your side. It also helps to counter that hardwired Split S they put in the controls. You may be able to skip the first step depending on the turn, experiment with it.
