I don't think they will put a dynamic weather system in afterwards unfortunately...
Especially when you know the performance costs of a dynamic weather system. I doubt they could make that work on XBX and PS4P while maintaining both the current resolution and frame rate.

Come on, wildlands runs like a charm with a much larger open world... Isn't that internal kitchen Ubisoft??

Welp, I jinxed myself. Now my game is stuck on permanent nightmode. Day and night cycles were here since FC2, yet this seems to be a broken mechanic on FC5.

Wildlands has much higher requirements than FC5. Both on PC and on consoles it runs a lot worse than FC5 (FC5 runs at double the framerate compared to Wildlands on my i7/GTX1070 at Ultra settings). And it uses a different engine.

Strangely the weather cycles are run by the Dunia engine since V1, FC2 had the cycle with rain and wind. FC5 run Dunia engine 2.0 they should have implemented it in the Ultra setting because again strangely between the low and ultra setting there are few differences.
