    Sorry, but I don't know what you mean... I don't see my guns for 1 sec. My saved game doesn't load at all.

    Also, what buttons are 'alt' and 'tab' on a Xbox one controller? I've never heard of that.

    Is there a way to delete the latest save and start on the previous save before the glitch or is it all lumped together?

    Is there a Ubisoft support phone number?

    At what point do we get refunds for this purchase?

    Please note that this is the PC forum, so it's assumed that we are discussing a PC version of Far Cry 5. You can reach out for further support from our technical team.

    Can you direct me to the xbox one forum?

    That link is to create a support ticket, which I already have done days ago and have not heard anything back.

    Where are the xbox one support forums or phone numbers?

    I would really like help with this issue.

    Here is a link to the Xbox One Far Cry 5 forums.

    The trapper error doesn't have a known fix at this time. It may require restarting the save file. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

    Got the same error code Trapper-1C07B734

    Been playing the game for about 30 hours and now it won't load on my PC. I failed the Clutch Nixon flying plane mission and when it restarted it seemed like it had ended and was the open world map. Flew about a bit and then crashed the plane and it wouldn't let me out of it so exited the game. When I tried to reload it comes up with the error code Trapper-1C07B734. From reading this thread it looks like I'll have to start over. It's a shame that they don't allow you to load from a selection of save points as in the past or on other games. That would have resolved this issue if the save is corrupt.

    Hey there.

    Unfortunately that remains the case that under these specific circumstances the only way to resolve this error is to restart the save file.

    fixed!

    I just picked up Far Cry 5 & my save game corrupted with the trapper error (as many others have reported) after I crashed in one of the chopper flying missions (Glory Holes). The game then respawned me back in the chopper in open-world mode, which I then crashed, and even though I survived, I then got stuck on the ground, unable to move at all (no mouse response). After quitting out, then the save games then caused the error.

    A posted solution was to find the save files, and to remove the 2. named one (or try 1., or both). the idea is to let the cloud restore good versions of the file(s). Didn't work for me as the cloud already had the same corrupt files.

    I then tried a zillion things - but finally this worked:

    1. Start Uplay from the Start Menu & change it so it doesn't synchronize saves with the cloud (we don't want our local files overwritten every time we restart the game, nor do we want the cloud saves getting updated, as a safety backup).

    2. backup the (corrupt) two game files & delete them.

    3. start a new game, then exit when you arrive at the compound.

    4. You now have two CLEAN save game files. Back those up too.

    I then tried pasting just one, or the other, of the two corrupt save games over the clean files, in the hope that the one holding the actual progress was still intact, but was being tripped up by corruption in the other (which the clean version would correct). Neither combination worked.

    Then next day as a last ditch attempt, I tried this:

    3. copy both corrupt files into place.
    4. SWAP their names around (so 1. becomes 2. and 2. becomes 1.)
    5. overwrite the 2. version with the clean file.

    You now have:
    1.save = actually the CORRUPT 2.save
    2.save = the CLEAN 2.save

    Now it loaded back into the chopper in open-world mode! I managed to safely land it, and then could continue the missions! My inventory, perks and AI buddy were intact too. There might be repercussions but I haven't hit them yet.

    If this doesn't work for you, try other combinations.

    The solution pasted in above post ... I envy it because we are on XBOX & cannot get those saved games. UBISOFT WHERE ARE YOU

    Thanks for sharing this workaround b--0--y

    BeardedSickness I am sorry to hear that the workaround is unsuitable for your console. At this time this issue does not have a solution, all we can advise is trying from a new save.

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
