Ubisoft,
So far, you are the only development company that makes figuring out how to set up HDR the most convoluted experience I've ever seen. It was done with Assassin's Creed Origins and now Far Cry 5. Trying to figure out this "Paper White" setting is beyond the realms of common sense. Can you PLEASE just add some kind of reference point to the option so we know exactly what would be the best setting based on our TV??!! Also, are you going to add some kind of deep black setting as most of the users I've heard from, including myself, have noticed that a lot of darker areas of the game are washed out and not completely "black", but rather a grey color.
I digress, please add something to the HDR settings that doesn't make this so convoluted. Like for instance, most games when messing around with the brightness settings have some sort of "symbol" or reference point that usually says, "Please adjust the brightness setting until the symbol is barely visible.". I know HDR would make this somewhat different as you need to be able to adjust for the pure whites and deeper black in nits, but having a strange setting that just says "Paper White".........WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!!!! Take Resident Evil 7 for instance, it had a simple easy to follow diagram of how to PROPERLY set up your HDR here.
Please, I beg of you, please fix this. Thanks for your time.
