Hoping someone has an answer here as I am ignorant: On the same PS4, how can two people with separate PS4 accounts both play Far Cry 5 (i.e taking turns), but not save over the others progress? Is this possible how can this be done? Simply each person log into their respective account and their last save is ready? They won't save over the other player's game progression or will they save over the other's progression? Really appreciate the help.
I really hope they add in an option for multiple saves. The way I got round this was to use another profile, at first this did not work because the Xbox I was using was not set to be my home console. I fixed it by setting my GF's profile to a family member, and it worked.... However , when I tried to play on her account today it would not let me.
Anyone know why it worked initially then stopped ? or How to have 2 seperate progresses saved ?
There has to be a way to do this on a PS4. A buddy of mine wants to run thru the intro before he buys the game and new PS4 system for himself. I'm more than happy to let him, but I don't want to lose my progress. Is this as simple as him creating a separate PS4 account and signing into his Uplay account? I thought there was only one Uplay account per console. How does one sign out of Uplay on a PS4 and and sign into a new on and then vice versa?
Hey WolfHeart2328,
I'm also a PS4 User and I think I may have a solution for you. Go to your Settings Tab on the PS4 Dashboard, Scroll down till you find Saved Data Application Management, then Save Data in System Storage. Find the Far Cry 5 Save Files and Upload them to the PS+ Cloud. Once Uploaded, delete the files from the HDD (NOT THE CLOUD!). Load up Far Cry 5, your friend can now play the game. Once he's finished and made up his mind, you simply delete his Save Data and re-download yours from the Cloud.
I really hope this helps, I've not signed into this website in forever, but figured you could really use an answer.
