I am running Nomad and so am difficult to kill, had an extraction in DZ1, there were other agents at the extraction but I had failed at several other sites to get my extraction going so was pissed at running around. I waited until there was 8 seconds left came out of cover and began hooking on, the 4 went rogue and 3 opened fire but I hooked on and with about half a second left until extraction the last guy starts cutting the rope, it takes 4 seconds, does the extraction go out, no of course not it is politely waiting for the rogue to complete hijacking my 9 caches, really, just crap. Contrast this wait with an extraction where I was fighting NPC's got to the rope with 2 seconds left, can I hook on, not fruiting likely, it will not let me hook on as I will not complete until after it is supposed to leave.
WHY IS THERE SUCH A DIFFERENCE!!!!
ANSWER: Because Ubisoft love their manure filled bags of skin called rogues and have bent the game yet again to favour them.
The extraction should leave when it is supposed to, if you have not successfully cut the rope by departing time it goes and hopefully it takes a manure sausage with it.
Bring on DIV 2 and return the game to the majority and who are the heroes of the game, the agents who saved NYC, not the back stabbing sell your mother, rear end wipes called rogues.
Bring on a DZ PVE and I will be there not because I am scared of dying but I am sick of the games bias giving them such advantages when they ruin the game experience for so many agents and they are a major cause of agents leaving the game for good.
Get some testes and recognise the DZ experiment has failed miserably for the majority and it has lost you a vast multiple of agents who have left the game than the minority PVP agents who remain.
If The Division 2 is to succeed better than Div 1 then focus on giving PVE agents a good gaming experience, but have you PVP arenas, just separate from PVE agents.
Why did 20 million buy the game but now only 6 - 7,000 play, answer because the gaming experience for the vast majority, the PVE agents, was a total pile of excrement.
Cater for those agents and the game will flourish, continue the DZ crap and favouring the rogue element to ridiculous lengths and the DIV 2 will go down faster than the Titanic.
All the rules are for the rogues. I mean that literally.
Everything in the DZ is designed to make players go rogue and make it easier for them than everyone else.
They need to make it a faction choice. You go in as either rogue or friendly. No timers. No cleansing.
Then the servers need to balance the numbers of rogues and friendlies.
I have been saying this for years. I guess the devs just prefer the chaos of the uncertainty at play when you are not sure if amd when that other agent will go rogue. At this point I doubt anything will change anymore anyway, but hopefully they consider that model for D2 assuming the whole DZ concept is still a thingOriginally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
Nothing is going to change. I only wish the DZ had some kind of balance but it is literally designed to be unfair. Some like it. Some don't. It is what it is.Originally Posted by qpMaverickqp Go to original post
This is truth, especially the part at the end. This quite honestly is my greatest fear for the Division 2. If Massive hasn't figured out that they need to seriously up their PvE game, and stop forcing people into PvPvE gank zones... it's over. Having a rehashed Division is bad enough. The problem is that a game that tries to regurgitate the nightmare that is the dark zone, is going to fail harder than Destiny 2. That will be the end of the franchise. Dead, gone, see yah later, no Div 3, ... just like Destiny. No one that left the first game is going to come back and drop $60 on a second title if they think its going to be the same mess all over again.Originally Posted by yamxt6002016 Go to original post
Totally agree. Something else I'd like is a warning that a nearby agent has gone rogue BEFORE I'm face down, waiting for the respawn timer to end, after being shot in the back by a 3 man gank squad on an ego trip.Originally Posted by yamxt6002016 Go to original post

If you enter you will get griefed, but if you want to optimize your CS or GS armour and also your weapons, you have no choice but to enter as your chances of finding Divtech in the numbers you need to optimize are so close to zero from any other avenue. The most expensive armour piece was a low spec first completed set, Striker CS armour piece that cost 1150 Div Tech credits to optimize. The worst weapon was just optimized earlier today and it cost 950 Div Tech credits for a 263 level House exotic for my 3rd agent, have 2 others but they were high 270's.
The Striker set all up cost 6500 Div Tech credits and it took another 2500 Div Tech credits for 3 weapons, a Bullfrog, a Lightweight M4 and an M9 pistol.
So for my 6 piece GS set of Alpha Bridge, my CS Striker 6 piece set and a 6 piece of CS Nomad, plus 6 individual pieces I optimized before my first completed set, costing some 6,000 plus approximately 12 optimized weapons it runs out to some 24,000 Div Tech for the 3 armour sets and about 5,000 for the combined weapons, representing some 29,000 Div Tech so far.
Try to find that outside the DZ, there are 6 other sets in my collection, most I will not optimize but need 1 piece to finish my Dead Eye set as I love my Marksman rifle.
It is reprehensible that you are literally forced to go into the DZ to get the sort of numbers I have invested in this collection.
I am regularly rogued, but at least with Nomad I have a chance to get away, unless it is a 4 man team all with Predators Mark, or you get chased by a 5 man team who get to group share booster shots. I can get extractions out if I leave it to the last seconds as they can not drop you fast enough to stop it leaving.
The single biggest thing that is so frustrating is that as soon as they fire just one shot close to you after going rogue you CAN NOT get to a check point or a safe house (what a misnomer) as you are locked out as you can not leave you are in PVP. My reply, NO I am NOT they are out to kill me, I do not give my consent but that is irrelevant.
Got chased across 3 DZ areas and past no less than 5 Check Points or Safe Houses but I can not get refuge and when a 5 man team get to share booster shots, you know how it will end.
WHY do Ubisoft love this miserable grief inducing crap fest, that would be highly illegal in any society around the world and it is a huge reason why many agents left the game, yes yes along with the bugs, drop outs, freezes and the myriad messages of doom for your game, but still they actually defend it and steadfastly refuse to give what the vast majority of cash paying PVE agents a DZ option with out PVP griefing.
Hopefully Div 2 has a PVE option and decent PVP arenas and multi options also, but I doubt it, but if the DZ does not change there are a vast number who will not sign up for another gankfest no matter how glossy the captures, well we all know you can not trust Ubisoft to actually deliver what is in the promotional material.
Having stated my scepticism In will probably sign up for the Div 2, I have loved the game despite its issues, but torn between an expansion in NYC where I should keep what has taken so much to build up, against a clean slate, exciting new world but back at the bottom of the heap and so much to do all over again.
