    Crash on start

Played the game for 30 minutes yesterday no problem, 1070 ti runs at 60 fps on ultra settings. Now today I go to play the game and it crashes on the seizure warning page or the black loading screen before it. There is nothing recorded in the crash log, I have deleted the cache, uninstall and reinstalled the game, ran as administrator, disabled firewall, disabled all overlays, and I have the latest windows updates and nvidia drivers. I'm out of ideas. I pre ordered FC5 before the delay and bought a new gpu in anticipation of this game so safe to say I am pretty livid right now.

Found the cause and a solution. This crash is caused by launching the game in borderless mode. The game launches fine in fullscreen. If you have changed the option to borderless and cannot launch the game to change the settings in game you will need to change it in the Far Cry 5 folder in My Documents, if you do not know how to change the options in the xml document you can simply delete the Far Cry 5 folder in My Documents - you will lose all your settings/key bindings but your save file will not be affected.
