Thanks for reporting this.
Does this happen every time you give up when you're in a downed state?
Could you possibly provide us with a copy of your system files to our support site?
This would be extremely helpful in identifying any potential issues.
Hi, thanks for your reply. It seems that despite it reporting the issue as being the dll it was actually a memory leak somewhere. I checked event viewer and it was reporting
Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: FarCry5.exe (4660) consumed 14437916672 bytes, HWiNFO64.EXE (6312) consumed 3786153984 bytes, and MSIAfterburner.exe (6304) consumed 1948987392 bytes.Application pop-up: Windows - Out of Virtual Memory : Your system is low on virtual memory. To ensure that Windows runs properly, increase the size of your virtual memory paging file. For more information, see Help. And then eventually:Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: FarCry5.exe (4660) consumed 14415679488 bytes, HWiNFO64.EXE (6312) consumed 3939074048 bytes, and MSIAfterburner.exe (6304) consumed 1948987392 bytes.
Application pop-up: FarCry5.exe - Fatal Application Exit : Unknown file version (E:\Games\Far Cry 5\bin\tobii.gameintegration.dll)
I closed HWiNFO64.EXE and MSIAfterburner.exe and then played again for a further 3-4 hours without incident. So it seems the issue isn't related to the tobii.gameintegration.dll but for some reason the low memory error made the game trigger the error about that dll.
Thanks for the input, I'm trying something, if it fails I'll keep an eye on that.Originally Posted by Placebo_PRS Go to original post
Indeed. Shame about the Crossfire situation: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...e#post13404909Originally Posted by Ubi-Rufus Go to original post![]()
To everybody who still have problems with "Unknown file version ... tobii.gameintegration.dll". Considerable amount of people fixed this by increasing Windows' page file size. Please try to do the same (http://www.thewindowsclub.com/increa...memory-windows) and report here if possible. Thank you
