    And again.

What is the point of sending the crash report when there is no answers given?

    Hey guys.

I can confirm it's a nvidia driver issue related to the latest update. I had the problem earlier today and did some research. Decided to try uninstalling driver and installing driver version 391.01 which is a bit older and not related to the FC optimization and it's working like a charm now.

If you go to https://www.geforce.com/drivers you can type in your gpu and find an older driver that should work like a charm.

Remember to uninstall the old one from the controle panel and do a reboot before installing the new one, just to be sure.

    Happy hunting.

Thanks Carebear. To be honest though I don't think it's right to have to do that to play game.
Although this is a fix for now, Ubi needs to address this and fix it sooner rather then later.

In addition, I was having the issues before I even updated my driver yesterday, and now with the updated driver. Which means I would have to go back to the Feb 26, 2018 driver update....
Again, temporary fix for sure but Ubi needs to fix this immediately.

Has anyone found drivers that do work?

Same issue here... the game will suddenly freeze for a few seconds, then ctd.

Crashed with previous drivers, as well as latest drivers. I will try rolling back even earlier when I get home.

It’s not a real solution, but I managed to get an extended play session in last night, i avoided the crash by hitting alt+tab or ctrl+alt+del the moment it freezes. This left me with a black screen, after a short while the game pops back up and carries in going. It worked on the 3 or 4 occasions I tried it last night. So could be worth a shot for you guys, until an actual fix is implemented.

    same here

I just made a ticket with ubisoft but its been happening since 2nd day but not launch day when I didnt upgrade the drivers so maybe a roll back might fix it. however seems all ubisoft games do this to me and crash/restart my pc on heating or something. watchdogs 2 was unplayable after like 6 hours of game time total and this is doing it as well same issue. I think its the overlay being ****ty but what do I know.
