I think its a Nvidia problem and might also be tied to the new drivers that came out yesterday.

Not sure. Like I said I had the freezing then crashing issue before the new driver, and after the new driver.

OK. I played the intro with the old drivers for like 20 minutes before getting the new ones. I guess rolling back wont fix the problem. It's weird because I had this exact same problem with Farcry 3.

Haha yeah, not happening here. I believe this issue is on Ubi's end. My rig is barely 6 months old.

And just when I thought maybe it stopped happening, it happened again.

Ubisoft, can we get an answer here please? For a new release this seems little unacceptable.

I also have the same issue. It was happening before the new drivers but it has increased with the new drivers. Far Cry 4 has the exact same issue on my rig also. I am running a GTX 1070. I did not have any issues with Primal or Far Cry 3 on a GTX 970. An Nvidia 10 series issue maybe?

https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...1#post13413158 Enableing XMP Profiles within BIOS fixed the issue for me
