Dead Bodies Vanish After Outpost Capture

Capturing outposts are one of the best things of Far Cry Series. But I have found that after capturing outposts in Far Cry 5, the dead bodies of enemies vanish. Is this issue with the game ? or its a permanent change of the game ?

This narks me as well. In FC3 & 4, once I’d captured an outpost I’d then go around looting the bodies, because it’s not practical to do it whilst in stealth mode. Even if it is part of the ‘new’ gameplay it isn’t good.

I`ve noticed this as well. So you need to let at least one enemy alive to loot all the bodies before liberate the outpost.

Dead Bodies Vanish After Outpost Capture

I really hope this can and will be patched...soon. It is a pain to search bodies when clearing outposts. Ideally, it makes sense to do it after, but you can not. We miss out on a bunch of loot by the time you add up all the bodies missed. For now I am trying to leave one bad guy while I clear the bodies...But this can be a challenge If you are not sure who is the last one, lol. Is definitely not game breaking...just annoying. Please fix, if possible. Thanks

They don't "disappear", you'll get a cutscene showing the resistance cleaning up the outpost.
if you want to loot, you keep one alive.

Yes, its very frustrating because I love to stealth in and try to go unseen as a challenge but keeping the last one alive is usually hard to do. With a companion active its next to impossible. It would be great if they just could delay the cut scene and clean up. It would be more realistic if you made a radio call back to Resistance that you cleared the area at the end. The current way isn't very immersive. It's like the Resistance are in trucks across the street just waiting for the last Peggy to die then drive in to take it over.

I suppose during cutscene location which contain outpost is reloaded with new "layout", so all what was there disappears.

Well, when you can look at a helicopter and three bad guys 200m in front of you, then turn around because you heard a noise behind you, then turn back to find the helicopter and bad guys have disappeared, it doesn't surprise me that the dead disappear after liberating an outpost.

Things like this are annoying, and the game has plenty of them. Quite disappointing, really.

That also goes on in the PC gaming. But you will notice that your ammo supply is usually topped off, as if you had looted the bodies of the dead. Guess the devs just wanted to make the game-looting easier.
